Decent new neighborhood bar/hangout.
Went there for an Yelp gathering recently on a Friday evening. The bar was pretty packed as the space is not very big. We had the seating section on the platform as it was a group of 10+ people. The "chairs" along side the wall was made of empty wooden crates flipped upside down with a cushion on top, which was pretty interesting and different. The music was loud but we could still talk to each other without screaming, definitely a plus.
I went up to the bar to get a beer. Didn't take long for the bartender to come over and take my order. I ordered a Chimay. He acknowledged and walked away. A couple minutes later he returned to my spot and asked what does it look like (LOL). My friend pointed out the Chimay bottle on the display shelf above the bar and the bar tender thanked him and returned a minute later with the beer. Thought that was funny. He must have been new too.
Would go back from time to time. Their beer selections seemed quite extensive. Maybe that's why it's hard to find ;) read more
