This place has a legit small-town feel and serves some excellent barbecue. We ordered the Burger special, sliders (one pork and one brisket), and The Brisket sandwich. The sliders were huge for sliders and served on big toasted buns and piled high with coleslaw, onions, pickles, and pepperoncinis. Both meats were flavorful and tender. The brisket sandwich was outstanding: certified Angus beef cooked low and slow, seasoned with their Texas-style rub, sliced thick, and stacked high on grilled Texas toast. Very satisfying. For drinks, we had a couple Hazy Fox IPAs and two Huckleberry Lemonades that were on special for $5, which were a fun and refreshing choice. The sides were just as impressive. My family ordered the 50/50 bowl with half mac & cheese and half cowboy beans which was outstanding. The cowboy beans were especially packed with flavor. We also tried the fried okra and potato salad. The okra was amazing; crispy and delicious. The potato salad was just okay for me and a little bland, but I'm from the north, so I know everyone makes potato salad differently depending on the region. Overall, Fox Smokehouse BBQ was a great stop with delicious food, generous portions, and a welcoming hometown vibe. Definitely worth visiting if you're near Boulder City.

We walked in one hour before closing, and were greeted by Timber with a smile. Although the space was empty at 2p, it was super clean. I was looking for a light menu option and was guided to the Lean and Green Omelette. This delicious dish was chock full of mushrooms, spinach, sautéed onions & bell peppers. It came with a side of fresh fruit. My husband ordered a Breakfast Burrito with house potatoes (potatoes mixed with peppers, onions and cubed ham) . Generous portions came with two delicious dipping sauces. This lunch spot was perfect and Timber took excellent care of us.

The decor was so cute and had a western /farm house vibe. The menu was very big and had lots of options for breakfast and lunch! Anything from bothers, salads, waffles and pancakes. We both had the 2 egg breakfast which came with choice of sausage or bacon, hash browns and choice of flavored pancakes. We had coffee cake and chocolate chip pancakes. The eggs were cooked just as we like them. Both pancakes were delicious and the batter is made in house! The coffee cake pancakes tasted like a huge cinnamon roll and were made fresh! The chocolate chip pancakes were light and fluffy and loaded with chocolate chips! We loved that they told us "see you tomorrow" as it's their motto! I'm glad that there is a location in Henderson and will be visiting soon!

A+ here The chips that came with my fish and chips were excellent. Was told there home made. Tasty and crispy. Well seasoned The creme brulee, which were also homemade, was very smooth with perfect consistency. The crust was thick. I didn't mind because I have a sweet tooth and enjoy crunchy texture. That said, I think for most people it would direct from the overall experience. The not so great: my fish in the fish and chips. The fish itself was good quality, but I didn't think it was seasoned at all and the batter was thick. Unfortunatelly disappointing. To be fair. my family enjoyed their chicken burger and pulled pork. I'll round up to 4 stars

Load of interesting and appetizing dishes on their menu, I opted for a more traditional breakfast sandwich and my partner got Portuguese sausage and fried rice. All of the meat served included bacon, sausage and spam was well flavored and cooked right. Our server was kind and quick even being spread thin. Overall we were pleased with our experience.

This is a family-owned, family-run staple breakfast and lunch destination for locals and people around the globe. It has also been featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. I had the Papa Con Chili Verde with hashbrowns. This dish is made with Pork Chili Verde, cheddar cheese, pepper jack, pico de gallo, and flour or corn tortillas. I added an over-easy egg as well. The hash browns had a really nice crunch and good seasoning. The egg was cooked perfectly with a nice runny yolk. The cheese added some gooey texture, a little salt, and a bit of bite, while the peppers added a nice crunch to each bite. The pico also added a bright, fresh texture to the dish. The Pork Verde was beautiful, with great spice and juiciness, tender yet with a good chew. The entire dish works well together, and it was hard to stop eating it. I also sampled their biscuit with homemade gravy. The biscuit was light and airy with great texture, chew, and flavor. It was buttery and fresh. The gravy was seasoned really well, with big chunks of well-seasoned sausage that weren't overpowering, along with sage and other seasonings. The gravy was thick enough to stand up in its own, but not so thick that it had the consistency of glue. Perfect, flavorful, and amazing are about the only ways I could describe it. My wife had the B.L.T.E. on sourdough with home fries. This sandwich is served with bacon, lettuce, tomato, and egg. The sourdough was thick-cut and lightly toasted, with a light flavor, crunch, and great chew. The lettuce and tomato were fresh, bright, and both had a great texture. The eggs were well fried and seasoned. The bacon was medium-thick, cooked to perfection with crunch, chew, and a great salty flavor. The home fries came in a huge portion, were well seasoned, but were undercooked and had an unwanted crunch. They also came with grilled onions, which tasted good, but I'm not sure why they were put on top of the potatoes rather than cooked along with them. Coffee Cup has a full menu for both breakfast and lunch. They serve loads of burgers, wraps, sandwiches, plate meals, burritos, omelets, diner classics, and sides. They have a full bar and serve beer. The staff was extremely nice, and the service and food were quick. The Fat Man says that The Coffee Cup Cafe is Fat Man Approved with 3 chins.

Thankfully the location was perfect since there was a lot to see around the area. The place looked cool with a ton of decorations of skis on the ceilings and a lot of photos on the wall. Mind you when we dine in we're kind of easy because we order, eat, and leave. The service was good, we felt like we were taken care of and they were kind. We order the OG breakfast sandwich and the pork chili verde omelette. We came in really hungry so I thought it was going to hit the spot. My husband and I really tried to like the food but it just wasn't as flavorful as it looked. The croissant bread wasn't as buttery as we hoped for and since the pork chili verde omelette was seen on food network I had high hopes for it, just for it to taste bland. But I did enjoy the wheat toast. We were kind of disappointed because of all the good reviews this place has but it was at least a great experience to try it out.

The Chicken Shack (Don't harass people please)…read more Ambiance/Atmosphere: 4/5 - So, one of my family was feeling a little bit hungry and wanted to try this place in Boulder City for some food. I wasn't feeling too hungry after Last Stop Travel Center, but I ordered something anyway. - The inside was, to be honest, pretty calm. It was a bit dirty, but not to the point of it being really bad. - Not many people, a little empty but not bad. - It also has weird answers from famous figures on the immortal question of why did the chicken cross the road. Some of them like Lennon and Nixon are not good people. Service: 5/5 - Service was pretty good. They were nice and answered my question when I asked if free refills were a thing allowed (they were). Prices: 4/5 - I forgot to get a picture of the prices, but it is indeed a bit expensive, but they are much more fairly balanced than Last Stop (and don't charge $8 for a Hotdog). Food: 5/5 - You know what, after eating at Last Stop, this was a pretty good meal. Even by itself, the chicken and fries are solid. - Fry sauce reminds me of Cane's sauce, but it's pretty good as is. - Also, I tried to get Chili Cheese Fries just to compare to Last Stop, but they unfortunately were out of chili. Overall: 5/5 Stars Final Thoughts: For my first time eating at a Chicken Shack, I was pleasantly surprised when I ordered some food. This honestly feels like a completely different experience from Last Stop, and I wish this was the stop where we went to eat originally. Although I will admit there is no gas station (at least that I could see), if your passing through Boulder City, you should make this your last stop instead.
