This little store between Lilliwaup and Brinnon has cool products you would find in high end markets. Not only that but once I was there and a gal came in looking for a spice that wasn't stocked, (Tajin) and the owner took it out of their own kitchen and didn't even charge her. Great service! Eldon market is a great place to gather all your essentials on a trip to the hood canal. I was pleasantly surprised to see the variety of items sold here. There was everything from medicine to fresh meat to organic items and gluten free options. Tons of chips, candy and soda too. Something for everyone. The prices were good too and the service -- even better. I had the pleasure of meeting such a sweet woman who helped me out in the store and at the counter (I wish I had gotten her name). Stopped in here Last summer Place was busy Awesome selection Met an awesome lady she hooked us up!! Got everything we needed and more, Came back and apparently the owner Has re sold the store. Lame sauce. Stopped in store was closed Sat in parking lot needed propane, Needed gas ,needed bread,needed milk, Candy,etc,ect, hours said open at 12:00 Opened late went inside unfriendly vibe felt like I was an imposition...smelt like Dirty diapers, Hot food case was gross dirty, Greasy burn looking food, Nothing in store I needed except a ton of hoodies over priced at that...drove to hoodsport for propane got it got fire wood Got great groceries cheap gas excellent costumer service It was amazing not worth the drive going to brinnon would be acctually be worth you're time read more

If they don't sell it, you don't need it. The Eldon Store is surprisingly full service considering the size. You can find almost anything here if you know where to look. They have a wide selection of jewelry and gifts, snacks, small grocery, fishing stuff, maps, magazines, medicine, camping gear, not to mention Eldon Store trucker hats! In the summer they open up a small stand for fresh fruits and veggies. Attached is a small laundromat along with a two-pump gas station. The staff are super friendly and kind and are willing to help you find anything that they might have. read more

If you want a unfriendly, sarcastic male customer service clerk who is outright rude and does not honor the fact that a person has a receipt knowing that there is video camera in front of the store showing that you did not get your gas then shop here as for me I will never ever shop here again and I'm going to post several other reviews to lay out the full contents of the conversation I have and follow up what the owners of the store to see if they too have adopted the attitude and norms of the individual they hired to represent them in business because I know he just let $40 in fuel that was never pumped cost them a customer that would have been so appreciative I would have gone out of my way to stop there for feel another convenience items don't let 40 bucks cost you thousands with a clerk that compares his losing $40 in a bank parking lot to you paying for gas and driving off without pumping it promptly calling as soon as you realize you're going to run out of gas way too soon to resolve the issue. read more

Stopped to buy gas.. when we arrived, I started cleaning my window off before pumping, my wife grabbed 3 empty water bottles, got out and threw them in the garbage can. She came back to the car and grabbed an empty bag of chips, headed to the garbage to toss it, the employee and apparently "son inlaw of owner", comes out of the station yelling at my wife that "this isn't the place you clean out your car!!". I came around the car to find this guy who's yelling, I asked what the problem was, he responded with "she's emptying your garbage in our cans! We have to pay to haul that off!" I filled our tank, bought some water and left. I'm sure the other staff is great and the store seemed to be in great condition. However, since when is it a problem to throw away your empty water bottles at the gas station? Isn't that the reason that most states require the station to have garbage cans near the pumps? Seems a bit aggressive to yell at someone over a few bottles. read more

The new owners are really trying to improve this place and off to a great start. I hope they're successful because it's a wonderful little stop between Hoodsport and Brinnon. Staff is great and they have a decent selection of homemade food. Tried the hand battered chicken strips the other day and wow! Excellent! Gas is surprisingly cheap for how remote this area is. Cheaper than most major cities in Washington. The only thing I'd suggest is put in some public restrooms instead of sanicans. Great job, nice friendly folks! read more

Very friendly, well stocked and clean. This is not your typical gas station and general store. Part of it even feels like you've walked into someone's kitchen. Be sure to get yourself a sandwich and drink and also check out the little garden to one side of the market. I was on a bike the first time I stopped. So glad that they are a part of the services that are available on Hwy 101. read more

Excellent products and customer service! When the freezer was empty (of bait) a kindly gentleman fished around in the back and got...some fish. Herring to be exact. We used them that very day! And the 18 beers that we bought. A caution when buying beer at Eldon Store--the cashier may know you and your parents and are not afraid to tattle ;) read more
