When I got the "diagnosis" I was devastated. It was so wrong and off-base. One of my diagnoses was bulimia. Ummm...I am 5'5" and over 200 pounds. Same weight I've been for 5 years now. That floored me. Reading through the Impression, it was clear that a 2-hour interview, many multiple-choice applying to kids that don't really have a multiple choice answer to fit my situation, plus the therapists observation...it's more like she had a preconceived notion of what my issue was and just watched me to try and apply it. So off. For someone with severe depression and God forbid, suicidal ideation or for a job or something more serious, this could have been even more devastating! I did it for me, so at least I didn't have damage control in that aspect. Luckily, I have a therapist now and understanding people who helped me see that I already knew the truth. The fact that she said I had bulimia helped seal the deal that she had no clue what she was doing. Waste of time, money, and stress.

In my opinion, they are just playing games with their patients instead of doing to right thing to help them. Started calling today for a replacement psychiatrist since this office was a joke and was scheduled to see a psychiatrist on April 9th. No problem. There are much better options out there.
