We worked with Express It Video Productions for our wedding last year. I was impressed by what we…read moresaw at a bridal show by their DJ partner company, e squared productions, along with them being preferred vendors of our venue, but they were a huge headache to work with. A few days before our wedding we were supposed to have Rob the owner, as our photographer but instead was sent Rocco. OK, no big deal, I was easy going. However Rocco had zero creativity. We had a fall wedding with a bridal party of 14 and all we got were the standard shots (girls lined up next to bride, guys lined up next to groom). ZERO creativity. Not only that, but he acted like we were bothering him by having him take shots. When my husband asked him to take bridal party pictures in the beautiful staircase of our venue, he actually acted irritated! That was the prettiest place in our venue for pictures, and WE had to ask him to go there. It was like he wanted to be anywhere but taking our wedding pictures. No fun personality, nothing that you would expect from a wedding photographer. After the wedding was when the aggrevation truly kicked in. We were promised that we'd have our thank you cards printed and sent to us by the new year (we had a November wedding). We received them in April, after having to follow up numerous times. For our video, album and prints, I had to constantly follow up with phone calls, texts and emails. Nothing was ever given to us on the date we were promised and I felt like I was always being worked by a car salesman at every interaction. When it came time to pick our prints, I was told I'd have to pay extra for parent albums even though when I was sold the package, parent albums were included. The quality of everything received was fine, nothing to brag about but decent quality. For the price we paid, we got a great deal as far as everything that was included. However I felt like there was a huge lack of professionalism and the client should never have to chase someone down to get what they paid for. I wouldn't have minded waiting for my album, video, etc. if I was just given accurate deadlines that they stuck to instead of constantly over promising and under delivering.

I found V3 Entertainment online, and it was the best thing that could've happened. The turn around time from my request to their phone call to me was only about 15 minutes! And let me tell you, that responsiveness and punctuality in delivery was consistent all throughout their services. The photo booth itself was even better!! Tons of options. Props didn't look like cheap arts and crafts. Photos were great quality. Both strips and 4x6! They even customize the border to a huge design for your event - for mine, they used a part of our gala invite. Everyone was RAVING. Saying they've never had a photo booth like this. And I honestly don't think anything better exists! Van, you were amazing! And I can't wait to use you every year!!

Each company had pros and cons and offered various perks. When it came down to making the decision for which company to choose, the choice was easy. Chris was easy to converse with and availability was not an issue. His company offers a number of services for different needs. And he walked us through every part of our wedding, helping us anyway possible. Even when we (well mainly my wife) had concerns, Chris always reassured us with his opinions from his many years of many weddings and experiences. The best thing about Chris is his eye for the shot. If you check out his blog you will know what I mean. His photos are absolutely amazing and almost non-comparable to other photographers. He doesn't take mundane shots; all the photos he had taken for us had life and were very vibrant. I just know that in a few years when I look back at our photographs I will remember the exact moment and feelings I had when they were taken.
