Well-cooked, good on herbs & spices without losing the meat taste. The side dishes (fries, stuffed potato, salad) we chose were simple but good, but let's face it, it's all about the meat here, and they did a really good job on that! The only reason I do not give Woody's a "five star" rating is that, despite that each sauce variety we sampled was tasty and well-paired for the food with which it was served, every single one of them was on the sweet side. I would have preferred something savory at some point, and this was also mentioned to the server by another patron at a nearby table. (I will also add that I was mildly disappointed to not see poutine - the quintessential Canadian way of serving french fries, on the menu).
