View from out table, forget to take a picture of our food because it was just too good

Wow this place is amazing, great service, amazing food and the view is just an incredible experience. I would 1000% recommend it, it's a true local experience. Traveling from FL and finding local food is a must for us.

These place gave bad lettuce and hamburger was way under cooked . Waiter was great. Kitchen needs some lesson.

The food here was excellent and the view over looking the Sea of Cortez put it over the top. The staff was very attentive, service was great!

One of my favorite spots we ate at on the Melecon. Family friendly vibe . Big portions. We ate here 3 times and enjoyed everything we ate every time. Not overpriced either.

First restaurant to start off our trip... this was a straight up risk taker because we didn't look at the Yelp reviews. I gotta say El Zarape Malecón did not disappoint! They quickly sat a table of 10 on the second floor with beach view! BEST fish tacos hands down! And we tried them from Tecalote, Cabo and the local tourist favorite El Toro Guero.. El Zarape is an easy 5 Stars, would recommend and will be back! - Server's wear mask - clean restaurant - didn't notice flies - didn't use restroom, so can't comment on that - second floor beach view - friendly service

I wish we had come here sooner during our trip!! Not only can you sit inside with wonderful AC but the food is awesome. They had live music when we came on a Sunday afternoon that was very nice and mellow. The service was great and the staff here are all very sweet and make you feel at home. My boyfriend and I both had the fajitas that were very good and we would definitely recommend them. We also had the beef flautas (taquitos) as an appetizer and they were soooo good. It didn't take long for us to get our food which we were happy about because our flight was in 2 hours. Overall, great service and food. We will definitely be back :)

Everything about this place was amazing. From the food to the customer service, they go above and beyond. The complimentary lentil soup before your meal is served, is delicious! They even went out of their way to put two chairs together for our little one to sleep in. I would definitely recommend for tourists and locals! 10/10! Great service!

Devine!!!! The service was amazing and by far one of the best chilè rellano I have ever had. Fresh chips, salsa and beans come with every meal. I will come back before I leave LaPaz!

Hambugesa Wagyu, (2) Chiccarone Ribeye tacos and Sirloin taco. Mmmmmm. If you're heading down to La Paz soon (or there already), I'd recommend this place over any other that I've tried during my stay. The staff was pleasant, professional, and proficient and they made my last night in La Paz end in a high note.

Our friendly server Roberto wheeled out a giant blackboard with the food menu on one side and drinks on the other. He also answered our questions about the tacos that were unfamiliar to us. To start, we ordered the queso fundido con chorizo. It arrived at our table bubbling hot - check out my video- with a mix of warm corn and flour tortillas. I'm guessing the chorizo was housemade because it was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended. We also got some elotes-style corn that was so sweet and lightly charred. I also selected the gaonera, suadero, and chicharron ribeye tacos. All had great "over the coals" flavor tucked into fresh, soft tortillas. Make sure to save room for dessert. I got the fondant de chocolate. Our server advised it would be a 20-minute wait, but it was totally worth it - beautiful presentation with a molten chocolate center. Good value and great experience!

It had been 15 years since my last visit and glad we put it on the top of our dining list. In between seasons, it was a quiet evening but things will pick-up soon. The staff was so welcoming and provided great service. We started with house chips and salsa - of course! I enjoyed fish tacos with fresh sea bass. Three big tacos - one went home for lunch the next day. An order of nachos was too much to finish. I had a Margatita with Jamaica - so refreshing. Mike enjoyed Mai Tais. We arrived fairly early so we could watch the sun go down. More guests arrived later. Tailhunters has been a mainstay on the La Paz Malecon for many years. Also, well known for their sportfishing trips.

We were a Party of 13 and they made us climb tiny stairs to the second floor whilst the entire restaurant was empty on a Friday night. That should have been the first sign to avoid this place. The assigned 2 waiters to 1 table and both didn't speak English. We ordered a blended Pina Colada and they wouldn't understand. Are you kidding me? Next, we placed orders and they got 4 of the 13 orders wrong. For example, our son eats his burger plain. They brought it with cheese after about 30 minutes on a night with no other customers. We complained. Then, the manager comes and raises his voice with us saying we said "with cheese." Okay buddy, we have been ordering our food the same way for many years. Just accept your mistake and re-make; but he raises his voice and gets aggressive. BEWARE! Avoid! We ordered Tecate Regular and they brought Tecate Light. Then they get upset and raised their voices to us. Not acceptable. They would not accept fault in messing up the orders yet the manager had the tenacity to raise his voice and yell at our party. We advised our AirBNB host to advise all guests to avoid this place as well.
