We quickly found a table in the main bar area at a small high top so we lucked out with that! The vibe was sexy and very cool for a stop in the evening. I'm not a huge mezcal person and don't like spicy flavors so struggled to find something I loved but my boyfriend tried a mezcal flight and a spicy cocktail and he loved it all! The staff was also very friendly and happy to try to recommend a cocktail that would fit my preferences. For the vibe alone, this is worth a visit!

They were able to seat us at the bar rather quickly, which was great. We were seated for quite some time before anyone came to take our order. Eventually we ordered with one of the bartenders who then passed our order along to a server. My food came out first and we figured my husband's was soon to follow. Multiple employees checked to see if we had everything we needed and each time my husband let them know he was missing his food. Finally after about 30 minutes and me being completely done with my food, his plate came out. Maybe with a prior reservation, the experience would be more positive. The restaurant is nice and has a clean and inviting atmosphere. But sadly, we just can't overlook the poor service we experienced.

¡Puro pinchi pulque!…read more La Nuclear was the meeting spot for our Lucha Libre experience, and honestly, it was the perfect first stop. We got to try cheese pulque (yes, cheese ) and passion fruit pulque, plus tacos de canasta and drinks galore. Beyond the experience itself, I loved the vibe of this place. La Nuclear has been around for years and has that old-school, no-frills CDMX energy that makes it feel like you're actually experiencing the city rather than just checking off another tourist spot. We had such a good time that I actually came back again without the tour group--which probably says everything. Great pulque, great atmosphere, and definitely a memorable stop in CDMX.

No frills, all quality and wholesomeness. The walls are coated with murals and hilarious graffiti with confessions like "Call me (number here)" and "Ama Mexico." My friend and I were the only ones on an early afternoon and we went with the flavored pulque. They did offer the original, but we did the guayaba and passiflora. Both were tasty. Loved meeting one of the pulque-tenders and he explained to us the process of making pulque regarding fermentation and the use of the "heart" of the maguey. SO rad. Plus the pulque is much less alcohol content, so it's a great digestive. The power of maguey! Phew! Highly recommend checking these guys out. Grab a few friends, as the tables can fit comfortable a group of four. The tables felt like church pews, but it creates a cozy and intimate space.

We were all really hungry and were disappointed that our food was cold when it arrived. The wings: Rockera, Tamarindo Morita, and Tajín all had good flavor and would've been amazing had the food actually been hot when we got it. That was very disappointing because the mozzarella in the mozzarella sticks were cold and hard. The server was ok, but he shouldn't have brought out cold food. I only ate my fries as they weren't super cold. I would go back to watch the rock band and have a beer, but not to get food with the fear of it being cold again.

My main complaint was that there isn't much information online about what time the bands played and was told live music wasn't going to be present until 6pm.
