Bathroom configuration a bit strange - the sink is in the bathroom but there is also a counter right outside the bathroom where there should usually be a sink. Ok to have more counter space but I kept wanting to find a sink there and getting momentarily confused when not finding one there. Not a problem just unusual. There is a desk and an easy chair. Aircon works well and quiet. Room color scheme is pleasing - modern with muted earth tone colors. Hallway is wide as well as the staircase. Insulation seems to be good as it's quiet and you don't hear any noise from neighboring rooms. Bed is comfy and firm. Room lighting very good and bright. Doors are wide here. Nice staircase, the kind you'd want to use. Adequate breakfast.

The room we stayed in had no doorknob on the bathroom door, and the bathroom wouldn't close all the way. I will never stay at the siesta again and I will not recommend it to anyone.

The rug in our room was stained but we could tell it had been cleaned, so it's older than the hallway carpet. The garbage can by the entrance could be cleaned once in awhile. The shower head was old and slammed water into the tub so loudly you couldn't hear the tv over the shower. Water was barely lukewarm. This was the only hotel in the area that accepted pets on our needed date. We knew a Super 8 wouldn't be GREAT, but this was ridiculous.

The place was dirty and smelly.The manageress told us to return for our dog in two and a half…read morehours.On our return the groomer told us she had not been told and had not started shaving our dog.All we wanted was a simple shave for the summer--nothing fancy.We were told an other hour and a half.As we are from out of town this was very inconvenient.We commented it would have been a good thing for them to communicate.We returned after another hour and a half to pay and get our dog and were told our dog wasnt wanted there again due to our attitude!!Apparently you are not to take times seriously and driving back and forth wasting your gas is part of the experience.We had not been planning on returning and certainly would never board a pet there.Walk in and youll know why. We have had grooming down through the states and Canada and this was by far our worst experience.
