What a surprise to find really good Mexican food in rural Missouri. The restaurant is quite spacious and very clean-- and what a friendly attentive crew! We had the BEST service of any restaurant in recent memory and couldn't believe the variety of Mexican dishes on the big menu. The food was delivered quickly, hot and very tasty, with generous portions. We eat at a lot of Mexican restaurants back home in California, and Los Chimas made us feel like we were at home.

I had the burrito loco, and the carnitas were some of, if not the best I've ever had. The were seared before they were braised, and were excellent.
