I just got some food from La Cosina.I ate soup, and my wife had pork with green chile. The meat was old and hard, and the soup was fucken salty. F... this place.

This is a really unique grocery store in the South Valley! They have Mexican products that you aren't going to find anywhere else for really amazing prices and it's just a fun place to browse. What makes this place really special is the unique fresh food stations. They have a tortilleria where you can get freshly made to order tortillas - corn or flour! You can also get great food to go or to eat in the food court area from La Cocina such as tortas, empanadas, street tacos, or shrimp cocktail. Yum! The tacos are my favorite! Again - the prices are amazing! They even have an agua fresca station with a variety of fruits! And if you are looking for gourmet desserts for bomb prices, definitely check out their bakery for everything from gourmet candy apples to beautiful cakes and cake pops! They also have the freshest produce I've seen in town!

I found this in the back of the store when I was shopping. it was bigger in person

They sell food that's not appetizing and it smells like shit in the store.never again come back it's so gross I almost threw up as soon as I walked in do not recommend at all do not bring kids or any one with a disability here or they could have serious side effects

If you're looking for it they most likely have #yelpjax #ElSuper

I was looking for a powdered red chili to bring back to Florida, so I found this market..Just getting into the parking lot was shear Madness once you're in the store BEYOND crazy.. This is a local store so it was packed.. I found the powdered red chili but due to the fact the lines were so long I passed.. They have fresh roasted Hatch Green Chile daily.. Had it been heading home I would have grabbed some of those for sure.. The store has a little bit of everything but if you're going in, be prepared to stand in lines..

I miss the fun hut style area that you purchased fresh made agua frescas and salsas.

The guy behind the deli counter provides exemplary customer service, as does the bakery department. All of the cashiers are extraordinarily personable and willing to provide any assistance when asked. The lines move swiftly and the self-checkout always has one or more helpful employees on the spot. The long running employees are a staple of the neighborhood community and the newer ones are always bright and hard-working which speaks highly of the hiring manager. All of the employees are great to have around, even the quieter ones. Lastly, in a neighborhood that can be a little intimidating to some, the security team keeps an excellent eye on everybody and everything. Thanks to them I feel absolutely safe while shopping there, which unfortunately I am unable to to say about some neighborhoods. You can tell that the entire staff cares a whole lot about the well-being of the store, the neighborhood and the community. Long live "Ghetto" Smith's, the heart of the Student Ghetto.

It was my husbands request to have fresh fish for his birthday dinner. The first place I thought where to get it was at WFM. I made a trip into town to visit this location. The parking lot was clean, and there was plenty of parking. I liked the feel when I walked into the store, the culture seems simpler and sleeker than it once was. The store is big, clean, and beautiful. It looked like they still offer many of the same services they had prior to the Amazon acquisition. Today, I was there for the meat department. I made my way over and asked if the fish they had on display were the only whole fish they had. They said it was. I ordered two Branzini's (sea bass) and Mark asked if I wanted anything done to them. I asked him to remove the scales, so he did just that. He bagged and wrapped them up for me. I then shopped for a few other items I had on my list. The produce and meat departments sections are beautiful. I like the options they have on their isles. They had a few checkers open. The customer service gal pulled me over and checked me out. I paid $33 for my two fish. I didn't feel that wasn't a bad price considering you could easily pay $60 for one filet at a nice restaurant. I will have to stop in more often for some more fresh fish or other nice looking seafood they have.

This WFM in Albuquerque is a huge store! Very clean and a carbon copy of the typical WFM layout and products. Associates were friendly and helped me find the restrooms too.
