Went here after a field trip and it was the perfect place to satisfy our hungry stomachs! We felt…read morethere were numerous options in the plaza, all around the same price for the menu del dia, and we are so glad we chose this one. We had a group of 10+ people and they seated us in a room upstairs family-style. Everyone got the menu del dia. I got: - wine - Tastes fine to me but I'm not an avid wine drinker. It went well with my food! - bread + balsamic - Hefty portion of bread loaves. You pour the oil and balsamic yourself. - paella - My first time eating paella ever! To be honest, it was quite salty but it helped a bit to squeeze the lemon on it. I ate it with bread. I thought starters were meant to be small but I found this portion to be quite big! - lamb stew - The photos online looked small but the portion was decent, especially along with the starter paella. The bones and meat were soft and had lots of cartilage. Potatoes were a good accompaniment. - salad - Just standard salad lol but my body really misses vegetables after being in Spain for a while. The service here was quick, prompt, and overall a great experience! We were worried about our big group but not only did our food all come out at the same time in a timely manner, it was also great talking to the servers! We were all able to pay separately too. I highly recommend this place!

Barman told us it would be open in 10 minutes. Ordered a beer and it came with a free boquerones tapa. The have lots of menu choices. From 11 to 25 Euros. We ordered the 20 Euros one and a La Mancha red wine. Amazing. Juan, our waiter, did his best to take care of us. Breakfast is not great but it's inexpensive.

Quiero hacer una mención especial a la Oreja que pedimos, única y fresca. Muy recomendable. El camarero , mister simpatísa, muy amable y atento en todo momento. La única pega, la TV se ve un tanto azul. por lo demás 10 de 10.

Marino is well worth a stop if you happen to be driving from Madrid to Valencia or vice-versa, as this place happens to be located mid-point between the two cities off the main highway. Parking is super-easy; just pull up as do most of the truck drivers and sedan travelers. The place has your usual bar-type portion with a little section that stocks local delicacies for sale, as well as a "comedor" or dining room area in case you have a little more time to spare. Hands-down the best thing the Marino had to offer for me was the bocadillo de chorizo. It's a deceptively simple little meal: a multitude of small local chorizos stuffed into a big baguette, all wrapped in aluminum foil. But, oh my! The chorizos' oil and juices dress the bread wonderfully creating a mouthwatering flavor that is certain to seer itself into your memory forever. Wash this down with an agua con gas or Coca-Cola and you're good to go for the rest of your trip. On my second go at this fablulous establishment, I enjoyed the dish of the day: judias con chorizo. A delicious lunch item, that again was deceptively simple, but carefully prepared using some very fine ingredients. The waitstaff was wonderful: my waitress had a quirky sense of humor and the people behind the bar were friendly, courteous and willing to engage a foreigner like me with ease. The best part of this establishment: the prices! You can dine like a king for under 10-Euros. It's a little gem of a place and I recommend it if you want a slice of what Spain is like far from the tourist crowds.
