Charming cafe with character and warm, inviting staff. They speak both Spanish and English so no problems communicating what you want. Food was fresh, decent portions and fairly priced. Really liked their bagel and they also offer nice juices made of local fruits. If you want a light lunch on a hot and humid day, this place is worth checking out.

Chi Chi bagel (bacon, egg, avocado, tomato and cream cheese) and Cafe Americano: a great way to start the day.

I love this place: it's a cute little "dive" with great coffee and plenty of good breakfast/lunch options, right in the heart of zona romántica. Today I got a cafe Americano and the Chi Chi bagel: egg, avocado, bacon, and tomato on choice of a few types of bagels (I got Parmesan). I first came here 4 or 5 years ago, and it is still as charming and delicious as ever.

Delicious coffee, excellent and broad drinks and food selection, variety of non dairy milk options to choose from if you don't drink a cow milk and super friendly customer service! On top of that, they are dog friendly and have a super cute, sweet and cuddly rescue doggie to make your waiting for coffee or food more fun. A poor thing is missing an eye. There are other two cute doggies, too. Definitely recommend. This place is awesome!

First of all, I love just about everything PV and sure enough, I found another place to love on. What a cool little spot to hang out, sip coffee and/or enjoy a grilled cheese sandwich. Laid back, with the feel of vintage beatnick, Mexican style. Love!!

The food and the staff here are amazing. My friend and I were looking for something light to hold us for dinner. I was so excited and impress of how much they put into making our meals and the conversations. I definitely recommend this local establishment if you're looking for something local and great.

Cozy, Charming, Local, and a true Neighborhood Cafe. Good food, Great Service with a Smile, wonderful Coffee and truly a Gem of the Old Town neighborhood. Food to order, fresh Coffee, and too she Caters. **Amaranta is a Local Mexican Neighbor and has been in the neighborhood of more than 12 years. Since before the growth began and always Smiled & been through all the tough Changes. **Also she is a good steward of the community and helps families, children, and temporary home to many of the strayed dogs and cats that also seem to find the comfort and love of El Sofa Cafe and the many vistieras #SupportLocalBusiness

Wonderful Mexican artwork store located in old town Puerto Vallarta that specializes in the Huichol…read moreartwork. The Huichol artwork originated from ancient Indians that lived in Mexico where the art form is symbol based where each symbol has a meaning. Much of this artwork is done with small glass beads pressed into wax where the level of detail is quite exquisite and clearly very labor intensive which adds to the appreciation of this type of artwork. This particular store has a very large selection of this Huichol pieces of artwork ranging from fairly small simple pieces of art to very large detailed intricate pieces that are absolutely beautiful. These pieces really need to be seen in person to be appreciated as a picture will not do it justice. Aside from the Huichol artwork, this shop also has Alebrijes (mystical animal creations), clay artwork, paper mache artwork, artistic tapestries and traditional Mexican clothing. Really a wide array of beautiful Traditional Mexican artwork. Lastly the staff is extremely friendly and helpful without being pushy. You will enjoy your discussions with them as they tell you about the history of these art forms and about who does them current day and how they are made. Also they are very adept at packaging your purchases so they survive the trip home. Overall a wonderful place to visit even if you are not in the market to buy. But beware, once you see these pieces you will absolutely be tempted to buy! Five stars .......

I was very happy to find Galería Colores Mágicos! They had exactly what I was looking for and I bought an incredible piece that I am excited to add to my collection. I am wondering if anyone knows how to get a hold of them now that I'm back in the United States.... I would love to order more pieces but I don't know if that's possible online?
