Food was ok , the service was very good the server was very knowledgeable, but they play the happy birthday music so loud I turned my earring aids off and was still too loud to bad,,

First time coming here and had no expectations but I was happily surprised. Every dish was packed with flavor just how I like it. It got pretty busy I kept seeing people coming in and the vibe and energy was fun. The service was good, workers seemed happy got checked in on a few times. Definitely want to try their other dishes once my lent is over.

We gathered here last night to celebrate our friends birthday and the margaritas were free flowing and the food was absolutely yummy! My first time there and brought my tacos home my son ate them up and said they were the best he's had in forever! So I will bring my family over soon! Also, the service we had was amazing. I can't remember his name, but he was on point with everything.

Carne asada Super Burrito

I had a bad impression of the burrito. The tortilla was wrapped extremely loose, which made the burrito basically fall apart half way through. The flavor of the meat was good and the beans were good as well but looseness of the tortilla made it difficult to grab hold of without breaking apart. I may try again down the road and hopefully it'll be better.

A hidden gem in san mateo!! I ordered the Molcajete and the Fajita Sinaloense and the waiter complimented me both times by saying "goodness amazing orders". Which was hilarious because he didn't say that to the rest of my coworkers. The service is quick, the portions are big, food is delicious. If you enjoy seafood I highly recommend! Pro tip: They celebrate birthdays hard, they will dim the lights and sing happy birthday for a few mins I swear.

The heads off shrimp were huge and there were plenty (8-10). The snow crab came with 2 clusters and were cooked to perfection with the medium spice/garlic sauce. The Cajun rice was awesome. The second round I had to get more shrimp but elected to get the mussels. Did not disappoint with the medium spice/ultimate sauce option (cajun/garlic mix). The cajun pasta was so good and nearly couldn't finish it. $35/pp plus 18% gratuity (approx. $40 total) including 2 cans of soda The restaurant was clean and spacious. And the servers were routinely checking in without being pushy or rushing. "Jasmine was awesome" Will definitely be back

But we can only order 1 cluster per order with another kind of seafood. Only 2 orders per person. We ordered snow crabs every round. Snow crabs , shrimp, clams, and mussels were good. The clams and mussels were fine but they were tiny. My friends who can eat spice ordered medium and that wasn't spicy enough for them so they ordered spicy or extra spicy. I kept ordering mild for my spicy level since my stomach cannot take spice much. We also tried crab chowder (watered down, light tasting), Cajun fries (decent), fried calamari (fried a bit too long so it's dark), and the curry snow crab rice (good). The sauce is thicker than claw shack and crawdaddy. Very garlicky and flavorful. Service- There were only like 3 people working the floor. We ordered our first round and it came out fast. Our second and third rounds came out slower. When we ordered our 3rd round, the waitress told us it's our last one. But they took their sweet time to bring out our foods. They were probably hoping to let the food settle so we would get fuller faster. It's not fresh crawfish even though the waitress told me it was when I asked her when we were getting seated. We had to keep asking for new gloves every round. The clear gloves are cheap and sauce kept going in them. I would suggest you to bring some better gloves. They also give you bibs. They did mess up our orders twice out of the 3. Our first order came out fine maybe because everyone got something different with the snow crab clusters. But for 2nd and 3rd orders, we ordered a lot of the same order but with different spice. They didn't tell us what level of spice each order was except the combo number when they brought them out so it was hard to figure out until you tasted the spice level of the sauce. We had to trade each other the seafood boils since it was the wrong spice level. Didn't realize they closed at 9pm. We were on of the last ones towards the end. But another party was still there as we left at 9:15.

It has good ambiance, located in a nice area and has good service. We ordered several dishes and everything was very well made -- flavourful, decent serving size and yummy. None of the dishes we ordered were too greasy either. The octopus starter and the lamb chops stood out to me. The only negative I felt were the prices. We landed up spending about $250 for three. That's what one would pay for an upscale steak house with great service -- Bahche was not that good. That's why I reduced the number of stars by 1.

It doesn't seem to get very crowded and we had no wait for a party of 4 on a weekday evening. They offer AYCE and per pound. We opted for AYCE ($35/person) and it was definitely worth it. There's a 90 min time limit, but they weren't strict at all. There are some restrictions on the type of seafood you can get (no crab), but I typically only eat mussels and clams so it was fine for me. You can also add in sides like sausage, corn, & potatoes. As part of the AYCE option, you can order appetizers like sweet potato fries, garlic noodles, and Cajun corn ribs (my favorite). The staff are friendly and attentive. They let us order past the 90 minute time limit and the food came out decently quick. Will be back!

We saw to people there and they greeted us when we came in. Seemed like it was a mom and daughter. They were very nice. They sat us down and gave us the menu and how the ayce works. I am not sure how to rate the food. The selection of seafood that you can pick was nice. Clams, mussels, shrimp and crawfish were the seafood picks you can do. Potatoes, sausage, corn were the free add on that you can do. I do not eat crawfish, which was also a seafood pick, so I can't review that. Everything was good. The shrimp was hit and miss, depending on the piece. They were peel and eat, but some shrimps were mushy meaning those shrimps were old. It was tolerable. Nothing that I haven't had before. I'll let it go for the price point they offer. The clam and mussels were good. As expected. The sausage, corn and potatoes were good as well. The place was pretty legit. The fried shrimp and fried chicken wings were amazing! Freshly fried, they were juicy and steaming on the inside, and crispy on the outside. Although the place was dead (it was a Wednesday after all), we did see a lot of people come in and pick up food to-go. Not sure if they were customers or drivers picking up for Doordash/Uber Eats. All in all, I would definitely come back to this place.

We stopped by during happy hour and it wasn't busy, which was perfect since we just wanted a quick bite before our movie. This isn't my first visit -- I've been coming to this location for many years, ever since they first opened. The interior is still very nice, with plenty of seating and a welcoming bar area. We ordered the pupu platter, poke & ceviche trio, shrimp taco, fish taco, a sushi roll, and tortilla chips. Overall, the food was good. I like yhe ceviche, sticky pork ribs, and poke. I do wish the fish and shrimp tacos had a bit more seasoning, as they tasted slightly underwhelming. The tortilla chips were a little tough as well. On the positive side, the margaritas were very good and refreshing. Our server was very friendly and attentive throughout our visit. The only small downside was that a few items listed on the menu are no longer offered, which caused a little confusion. Parking is available in nearby garages, surface lots, and/or residential streets. Dining is available both indoors and outdoors on the rather slanted road. Service was typical of a chain restaurant. Our server was great at upselling and checking with us throughout the evening. Service level was definitely not up to a Michelin star level for sure... Started off with the chips and dip and it was decent. Moved on to the black cod entree and it was ok. The black cod was nicely seared and came with the tasty skin. The bed of rice was sushi-like with some slight vinegar although I found the flavor a touch off. The green beans were rather heavy and somewhat stringy... Portions, especially the rice, were gigantic.

The restaurant was a little more than half full when we had dinner there on a Friday night and the ambiance is lively but not loud. We ordered a variety of dishes and everything was delicious, with very generous portion sizes that left us so full (with leftovers to spare). The ceviches were bright, limey, and tart in the best way, the chicken wings were crispy and juicy, the papa rellena was especially interesting (almost like an inside-out, deep-fried baked potato) with olives and raisins that were a pleasant surprise, and the lomo saltado was as comforting and dependable as it usually is. To top it all off, they even offer Peruvian beers, which was the perfect way to wash everything down. The location is a little bit odd but easy enough to find and park (there is plenty of parking across the main street in front of the BevMo if there isn't any directly in front of the restaurant).

It does NOT look spicy, but it is! I got the La Ronda Plate which had 3 items: combination plate of fried calamari, fish ceviche and seafood rice or seafood fried rice....everything was really good and fresh. It had flavor and really was cooked well, unlike the seafood and rice I had in Peru where my complaint was no flavor. Heck, go here and it will save you the plane fare! Got their Chicha Morada, pricey at $6.95 with purple corn pineapple & spices, I would probably not get this again because it was kind of like a bland drink to me...instead I would get their passionfruit drink next time. Both of us got their homemade flan which was a 5/5! Would definitely come back to try more dishes in the future.

I think there were communication issues. there was some mix up with the tables and throughout the night after that our orders kept getting mixed up with not just one but two other tables. So we would see our food from afar being held in front of a group of servers where they would have a conversation over our plates of food for a few minutes then go to other tables, and try to give it to other tables before it finally got to us. The staff explained there was a mixup and due to that all the orders continued getting mixed up during our meal, but there was no acknowledgment otherwise or an attempt to make things right. I think because the group tip is already mandatory, there was no incentive on their end, perhaps. The bus staff are pretty available and responsive but limited in what they were allowed to assist with and the server was hard to flag down. Anyway onto the food. The clams linguine was flavorful. The crab Alfredo pasta had a lot of crab which was a pleasant surprise but a little lacking in flavor and a little on the sweet side with cream and crab notes. Cioppino was better than expected. Oysters were good and an okay price. Key lime pie was decent. I think 3.5-4 stars for the food (probably 4 at the happy hour rates!), 2 for service. Ambiance is a bit weird. Like somewhat upscale with some decor and high ceilings but not in others. Worthwhile to return for happy hour and may update review then!
