I come here every once in a while and the food is always good and of good quality, but they are more expensive than other restaurants. The portions are just about perfect for me but maybe not for some people. As you would expect for an establishment located in a small town named "Pigeon", the menu is rather basic. One thing that doesn't sit well with me is that you have to actually request chips and salsa to start, whereas every other Mexican themed restaurant usually brings them out as something that is just expected, complimentary. The service has always been good when I have visited. Overall I would recommend stopping in if you are stuck in the Thumb area and really want Mexican style food.

Great food and service! I had the steak taco and the meat is delicious! Cute patio and great music! The owner came to introduce himself. Great guy!

Only been here once but was pleasantly surprised when visiting the Thumb area in Michigan and we are here one night. The outside looks rustic and the gravel lot makes you wonder about the inside but be prepared to be amazed. Inside has a very cool Tex-Mex vibe going and it's very clean. I ate with nine people and no one disliked their meal. We didn't have reservations but still got a seat right away at five o'clock on a Saturday. I ate the burrito and taco. It was excellent and came with a side of beans and rice. Only disappointed when the beans turned out to be pinto and not black beans.

Very good food, tastes like its homemade when you order. I always love going here and the people working are very nice as well.

Don't know much, checked hours online and called. We got there at 5:30 on Saturday and they were closed, there for they suck.

My wife and I ordered burritos. They were pretty good, but served a little on the cold side. The server was great. Worth another visit.

I'm a little disappointed I suppose…read more After reading all the glowing reviews and looking over the menu I was sure I was going to have a delightful meal this evening. This restaurant is attached to what is clearly a dying mall, and that may be part of the issue they're having in terms of retaining staff and maintaining foot traffic. It is desperately hard to maintain a high quality standard in food when you simply don't have that many people coming in to eat. The staff I interacted with were generally friendly, but also quite busy and trying to keep up with the various tables. The seating options were a little uncomfortable, but serviceable overall. Everything appeared to be clean, although I noticed a bucket of dishes sitting out in the main dining room That was not being attended to. Given the volume of business they were having at the time this wasn't a huge deal. The food was a mixed bag. The chips were decent but a little greasy. My chicken was well prepared and had a delicious cheese sauce on it. The rice and beans were quite regrettable unfortunately. The beans were overcooked and too pasty, the rice had no real flavor to it. It really is a shame, I was looking forward to trying this place.

I was angry, I was like "no I'm not going in there, it's an abandoned restaurant in an abandoned…read moremall" I shouted in the midst of an argument with my wife who "wanted to try something new" Fortunately for me we had my mother in law with us who brought sense to the situation by just walking inside the Cazadores restaurant. This was some of the best Mexican food I've had, period.
