The container of cooked beans was purchased on Monday, but the complainant did not consume them until Thursday. While he was chewing, he felt something hard scrape against his teeth. He found pebbles/small stones in the beans that hurt his jaw when he was eating. He called the establishment to speak to a PIC/manager, but they hung up on him. He called back and they took his contact information but have yet to reach back out to him. We really enjoyed the simple tastiness and quality of the food and will definitely be back for that. The ambience could be greatly improved by getting rid of the fluorescent lights and adding some cozy warm sconces or lamps. The service was perfunctory, not exactly warm and welcoming, the waitress was stiff and barely smiled. The manager-like fellow was pushing "tequila" hard and had an overseer air about him. If the food at the Heritage location is as good as we had tonight, I'm betting the ambience is a lot nicer. We shall see. This experience gets a 3.5 due to the tastiness of our food and drink. Improving the ambience and welcoming would take it to a 4.

I'm a fan of the "street tacos". Just the right size and you can eat 3 to 6 depending on how hungry you are and there are so many different fillings to try. I had 2 Asada (steak) and 2 Al Pastor (pork) and all were amazing. They come "double wrapped" in the mini tortillas with onions and cilantro on top (if you want both). On the plate also come some cucumbers and radishes for cleansing your palate between tacos. Some grilled onions and a grilled jalapeno also come on the plate to add to your tacos. On my next trip I'm trying a fajita and will follow up with a review. For the restaurant, super friendly owner running the show, clean floors, tables, etc. Table service if you're eating in and a walk-up counter if you're placing a to go order. This is my new spot!
