This place was recommended by a gentleman I met on my flight. It did not disappoint. Fast service, food is ready immediately , and the flavors are delicious. The dough is firm, the filling juicy and the meat well marinated. The key is the "pino" mixture, which has a sweet onion - cumin flavor and the chunks of good beef that is soft to the bite. No ground beef here! Get the " ají" ( hot pepper) and it is NOT hot, but brining with flavor. It's gone up in price , each empanada was CLP 2500 (USD 3.15) but very filling . We ate 3 on the spot , 3 for dinner , 3 left for lunch . They gave us a bag to carry on the metro. I recommend taking the blue line "L4" Metro to Macul station and then the "108 "bus ( 10 minutes) , and it's a block away. We walked from Macul station on the way and it's a 45 minute walk. We took the bus back! read more
