Every time I'm here I'm going somewhere or meeting someone (this is a busy corner of N-332 road and Carretera Villamartín). Every time I'm here I have no time to stay for longer than 15 minutes. And almost every time I'm here, there are exceptional musicians playing great music (in the afternoons around 2 - 3 pm). Like today! One minute is enough to realise you are listening to one of the best bass guitar players on the Costas (a small jazz band). I wish I had more than 1 minute. Can't wait to come back!

This is an odd one. 222 has 5 sections. A bar/café in the front, a terrace which opens at 1700, an…read moreice cream section, a pizza section which is indoors and a grill outdoors. The service at the bar/café section sucks to put it frankly. It's mostly staffed with pretty tiny girls who'd rather like to sit down and drink and chat than do serving. The grill though is the total opposite. The staff there only consists of men but they are extremely charming! They have a lovely sense of humour, they smile, and love to make jokes. The food is awesome and I had the best entrecote (an enormous 300g one) I've ever had with a wonderful pepper sauce. My wife had pork chops, which also were very tasty. Skip the rude front and go to the grill! I haven't been to the other sections but I believe the pizza section is staffed with the same staff as the grill.
