Me encanta la comida en el Ranchito. Esa si es comida realmente mexicana, hecha con mucho amor, el carnicero José es excelente empleado.

Some of the best street tacos in town. They make the tortillas right there. Try the carne asada or carnitas.

I could have spent the entire day digging. Employees at the counter were incredibly helpful and friendly. This is on Record Store Day too, and there were so many people shopping but even the other patrons were overall very respectful and mindful of space. I was slightly disappointed because some of my favorite artists they didn't have markers for and therefore I assume they didn't carry vinyl for in general (Rhapsody, Kehlani, Gang Starr, The Hip Abduction) and were completely out of a few others (Toni Braxton, Brandy). On the flip side, we found some records that were absolute gems. They also said that they can order the records that I couldn't find, so overall I think that it makes up for what they don't have in immediate stock. We were also shopping from out of state, and they were able to ship our large haul back home. This was a dope experience and exactly why you should shop local.

I brought in a curated stack of clean, high‑demand records and was met with one of the most disrespectful experiences I have ever had. The buyer behind the counter was openly flippant, dismissive, and acted like I had no idea what I was bringing in. His attitude alone set the tone -- rushed, condescending, and completely uninterested in treating me with respect. I think it takes longer than five minutes to look at the quality and condition of 30 records. He opened with a lowball offer that did not match the titles, rarity or the condition, and when I questioned it, he said "records not selling" while we are standing in a store literally packed with people buying vinyl. It was insulting, and it was clearly meant to make me feel like I should be grateful for whatever lowball number he threw out. The moment I pushed back and asked for my records back, his offer suddenly jumped up but still well under a fair trade. That tells you everything about their honesty and ethics. It was not about fair value -- it was about seeing what they could get away with - how low they could lowball. To top it off, they paid with a check instead of cash, which made the whole thing feel even more disrespectful, inconvenient, and dismissive. In hindsight, I wish I had taken my records back but I was so disoriented by the disrespect and clerk behavior. And it made me realize why I never sell or trade records. If you care about being treated with basic respect or honesty, take your business somewhere else. I will never buy anything from this disreputable unethical establishment. And you should not either. This is not a mom and pop business but a business operating without integrity exploiting its customers.

I really want for places like this to do OK, especially as it's local and independent. It's a bit…read morelike Comic Book Guy on "The Simpsons," except for records, CDs and DVDs and other business lines, as mentioned. Pueblo, "The Gateway to the Dirty Southwest" (TM), isn't Denver or even Colorado Springs, and the low disposable income and changing population demographics are no doubt challenging for keeping a b&m store going in such a market. As with the Simpsons character, it could become as much about love of a hobby or lifestyle as anything, even if finances are barely afloat. As mentioned, this store is gamely trying to find the right product mix...is it used DVDs, posters, used CDs, vinyl, something else, or all of the above? You don't have to drive too far to find other stores also trying to get the right mix, whether it's Independent Records or, say, Ernie November in Cheyenne. There are other deals-with-the-devil to contemplate (head supplies? Bootlegs? Ebay?) but few would argue it's a tough business. Unfortunately it doesn't appear to be as rich a market for getting used vinyl in...a price for something that's not too special might be $4-ish, while an old Led Zeppelin album might be in the $20s. Pricing approach looks midscale, but the selection is limited by what gets brought in, and in that regard Pueblo is no Denver. That's likely the disadvantage there, and I see the same challenge reflected at crosstown rival Independent Records. Dave seems cheery enough and you have a 95% or better chance of a good encounter, with the other 5% maybe residual from suffering too many cranks off the street. In that sense he reminds me a bit of a more famous Dave, the owner of Dave's Records in Lincoln Park in Chicago (just subtract about 15 years from Chicago Dave, who's had way more than his fair share of fools to suffer). So overall I can't rate this place a must-visit if you're one of those people who travels a lot and has an extensive collection and is looking for something rare or different. But for the local market it's the kind of place you want to see succeed.

I'm sure I'm not the first customer to say that the customer service at this facility is lacking…read morehorribly!!! Mainly and especially from the "owner" Dave. I literally just got off the phone with his rude ass. Who was completely unprofessional and arrogant from the get go.. I placed an order like 2-3 weeks back for a CD I needed shipped to a facility in CA. I explained several times to the girl on the phone that being it's a facility it had to be the non-explicit version, which she seemed to thoroughly understand. Come to a few weeks later, today the owner Dave calls me and from the get go is short and just plain rude. Basically cutting me off every chance he gets and tells me "Let ME ask the questions" that's when I ask for his name and position and suprised and amazed that someone like him is the owner of any establsihmentand. I had already paid for the CD since HE was the one asking ALL the questions but in the end I did ask if I could confirm that the CD was the non-explicit version. That's when he totally loses it and starts telling me maybe I can just cut him out and go through Amazon. Ummm, honestly does he not think that I tried that prior to contacting them, but as many people know the CD industry is damn near non-existant so I seen this business driving through Pueblo one day and thought, hey here is a place I can start to use for my continued business..They say keep your business local and help out small business but this is exactly why people go direct through corporations like Amazon..At this point I tell him his customer service is lacking and he tells me that he suffering from a illness and do I care?? Dude, I suffer from an illness too and I sure as hell don't treat people like you!! He tells me ya, I get complaints all the time about my customer service. Well maybe that should frckn tell him something then!! At this point he tells me, "why don't I just refund your credit card and we can just call it good." Which was absolutely fine with me but of course the transaction for some reason couldn't be reversed so I am nearly positive the explicit version of this CD is going to be sent since he obviously didn't give two shits from the get go!! Horrible.
