The food is cooked very well, the chicken is very juicy, well seasoned. The sides are also good. If you go and sit after ordering they'll actually bring you your food. The set up is your usual fast food joint set up so nothing fancy. If you haven't tried it I suggest that you do. Actually I'm sitting here at 0530 and I've actually made myself hungry thinking about the food. read more

9/10/26 went to drive thru today ordered shredded nacho with no guacamole since allergic got home and there was no shredded chicken on the nachos and I started to have in allergic reaction i called there location 3 times not answer will never be going back read more

I'll be a long while before I go to PL again. The prices have gone up and you get less food. You would get three side dishes (fam meal), but now you get only two and the portions are smaller. This time bean side had more liquid than beans. Even the napkins are single-ply! One of the features of Mexican food is that is cheap. Meat, rice, beans, salsa. That's it; it doesn't cost a lot to make. This is pure corporate greed. No wonder the place was less than half empty on a Saturday during lunch hour (it used to always be packed). read more

I've never tried the chicken pieces here but I do love their tostadas and salads! They are both delicious, if you're doing low carb get the salad over the tostada, but if I'm not watching carbs I go for the tostada! Good quality chicken on any of them, you can order double meat if you'd like. The salsas are really good too! read more

El Pollo Loco - Chicken Mac and cheese and rice - Fast Food Near Me - West Valley, Utah

Pretty decent for fast food, I had the tacos carbon combo from the drive through window. The staff was efficient and friendly and the drive through wasn't crowded. The salsas were fresh, a pico di gallo type and green guacamole style. Neither hit my preferred spice level cause I love picante! read more

Rude services , I complaint about the size of the chicken beca the chicken was chopped and the response I got was it is what it is , I felt so disrespected, probably never come back read more

Great food and great service for a good price. I ordered the el pollo bowl in a combo. Just over $7 with tax and delicious, quality food!

Deliciosa la doluble chicken tostada y los empleados amables y el lugar limpio, y la recomiendo

I loved the customer service, right as I walked in I was greeted with a good and positive experience.

Really good and super clean all there food is good good workers and there nice and there chicken is really good

Horrible service , pulled into drive thru , no one in line or inside and it felt like I waited 5 mins for them to take my order, pulled up to pay and then they asked me to drive around front and park and they will bring my food out which they did. I tried placing my order online but the option for curbside service was turned off so I had no option other than drive thru. read more

Over the last year of 2023 to current the quality and service has declined to a degree that takes away from the dining experience. The environment feels comfortable if not so dirty. The food has kept my interest but feels like a hassle to the employees to take an order and fulfill it. I feel I'd much rather dine elsewhere for an equal and faster experience. read more

El Pollo Loco - Kids Mini Pollo Bowl Meal Brc burrito - Fast Food Near Me - West Valley, Utah

Overpriced, small pieces and dry. The worst Mexican food option you'll ever find. If you go there, you'll just be disappointed

I've never had a problem with this El Pollo Loco before. We came in to order our food. There were more employees than customers inside. When we walked in someone said I'll be right with you. We patiently waited while others were being helped. When those customers had left we went to the cash register to order, but no one was there to help us the employees where either prepping food or cooking. After waiting for almost 10 minutes with no one helping us or acknowledging us I told my husband we should just leave. He said wait I'll try and get someone. He got someone to come over. She couldn't take our order, but asked someone to come over. The person started to walk toward us when the other employee said they are Deaf. The one coming toward us then turned around and walked in the opposite direction. So we left. A little education to the unhelpful employees of El Pollo Loco - whether a customer comes in Deaf or not they should still be treated as customers and not invisible. FYI not everyone in the group that came in are deaf. read more

I had an online order on Friday 11/1/24, waiting for my order in the restaurant, I'm standing in the front at the counter, nobody working there even acknowledged me for at least 10 minutes, then when I do acknowledge me they tell me my order has not been in the system cuz their system's down. Still waiting for my food 35 minutes later. I asked him to make it up to me and all he said was sorry I was not good enough unacceptable. 6 p.m. read more

love the food! Always so flavorful & filling! Love walking in and smelling and seeing the chicken on the grill. Also the salsa is bussin

1. Horrible service. The female who took our order was rude & was trying to hurry us up to get us out the way. 2. I understand y'all get busy. But how y'all forget some of my food. (I'm a truck driver so by the time I got to it I realized I was missing food so I wasn't able to go back) 3. You see how burnt this is?! Greasy & falling apart. How is it falling apart if it's overly cooked?! Do better. read more

El Pollo Loco - Chicken - Fast Food Near Me - West Valley, Utah

Disappointing. While the chicken is good, the tiny (seriously...I've had bigger and more moist before at other locations) breast was really dried out. My order was without cheese or tortillas, my order only. They didn't give my husband any either. The cashier 'upgraded' my order for 30 cents more because it gave me a larger cup for my WATER. They carry no drinks that are healthy except water...that's all I wanted. I told the cashier not to...but she said it was a better deal and did it anyway. Ugh! read more

The food wasn't anything spectacular. The pieces of chicken were very small. We got the eight piece chicken deal which wasn't much of a deal at all. Their are only three of us and like I said the pieces were very small and the tortillas were flavorless, the corn was the best part of the meal. However, you can live off corn. I emailed them and they did or said nothing. As you can see it's been seven months. I'm guessing they really don't care. read more

Great tasting fresh food, at a great price. Had the 3 al carbon tacos combo. For $5, you can't beat it, plenty filling!

These guys are a grilled chicken spot. It's good chicken and they have some amazing salads. I went with some chicken and a quesadilla with avocado and guacamole. The chicken was good but not good enough to pull me away from another chain. The service is good and the servers engage you the moment you walk in. The store is a little dirty apart from that it has a good look and feel. Your meal does come with two sides. I chose mac and cheese which was your typical fair and rice. It was good but nothing special. However they do have a delightful salsa bar with guacamole salsa and pico and several other sauces for your enjoyment. read more

My husband and I are both love the grilled chicken and this place is the place that we usually stop by and pick up the 8 pieces legs and thighs to bring home and enjoy. The reason that I gave 4 stars instead 5 stars is the consistency to cook the chicken is on and off (Sometime the meat is too dry or too salt, sometime is not). Love the drive thru option. It's so convenient just stop by and pick up the food within 5-10min max. The reason I gave 3 stars now because sometime drive thru order they gave you a really dry chicken (picture show below) which made me really upset. read more

El Pollo Loco - At drive thru they gave me an old grilled chicken. This Thigh and leg are super dry..not fresh at all :( - Fast Food Near Me - West Valley, Utah

I admit, I use to love El Polo Loco, but our experience has scared us away not just from this location but from the brand. As you are looking for places to support during COVID, please for your safety, look for places that you know are following COVID regulations. And while this was only one location it does not appear that this chain has the same level of concern of other eating establishments. Unprofessional behavior makes me question food safety. Ordered food through the Ap for curbside pick up. Got to the location, called and waited. 20 minutes after appointed time called again to get an update. To our surprise, staff yelled, cursed, and hung up on us. When we called back they refused to answer the phone. At that point, I looked at my boyfriend and said-uhm I don't think it's safe to eat the food. He agreed and went up to the doors to ask to cancel the order and get a refund. But, the doors were locked-and they wouldn't answer the phone so we waited When they finally came out (without a mask) with our food-about 5 minutes later he refused the order and asked for a refund. They refused and told us to call corporate. We called back on Monday to talk to a manager-but, there was no Manager on duty (according to the staff, no manager on Sunday or Monday). we asked for the General manager's Name and Number and was told they can not share that information but they would have them call us. Of course no call back. We generally tried to resolve the issues without going public-but El Polo Loco is not interested in doing so. read more

Dude forget all the toppings I asked for, even after he repeated order to me. Very unsatisfactory visit.

This place was delicious ! It was our first time ordering so we ordered online, it said it would be ready at 6:56 and I pulled up at 6:57 and I saw them putting the salsa in the bag and they were all set! The cashier very friendly showed us each item in our order, the guy (isai) who was doing our salsa super friendly !! Honestly it was so nice to talk to them. The food was good definitely liked it. A suggestion for the website is when it says "mixed" chicken just put a description that it's a variety of chicken parts. Or maybe it was just me who misunderstood but other than that great place ! read more

Color me impressed! I decided to try Pollo Loco after the initial rush that inevitably happens when a new restaurant opens. Glad I did, because it was delicious! I had the 3 piece breast and wing meal with mash/gravy and corn. The chicken tasted super fresh, with a nice marinade on the skin that was flavorful without being overpowering. The mash and gravy were fast food mash and gravy--I knew I wasn't getting made-from-scratch, and they were fine for what they were. The corn was a pleasant surprise--very buttery with bits of red pepper and some Mexican spice that really hit the spot. I was especially pleased with the service. I went through the drive-in and the cashier, who also took my order, was pleasant and friendly. One star off for a minor nitpick--my fruit punch had too much syrup and was too strong to enjoy. Other than that, I was very pleased and I will be back. read more
