I was able to do a refresher, cover a handful of specialties and get several dives in. I know it's not easy running a profitable dive shop and trying to keep everyone happy but this is a good group of instructors, assistants and team who have built a great work dynamic in a very short period. Dave & George were great instructors who I would recommend to anyone. Additional thanks to Carlo, Richard, Chris and Sully for keeping us safe in unfamiliar sites. I intend to dive with them again as I continue my scuba journey.

Very dishonest and disappointing.

THIS PLACE IS HAVING THEIR FRIENDS AND FAMILY MAKE FAKE REVIEWS TO HIDE OUR TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE…read more Dont let their stars fool you. Instead of being open and honest about their establishment they are having people give fake reviews.** We rented this space for our toddlers 2nd birthday. Although the inside is a fun and welcoming environment for kids and parents, the host for our event was not welcoming at all. We had a horrible experience with her. They have an imagination station for kids to play freely with toys and all the host did the entire time was follow the children around and put all the toys back instead of letting the children feel free to play. It's like she wanted everything in exact order at all times! These are toddlers who want to play from station to station and all she did was interrupt them the entire time! This place also has a ball pit and she was yelling at 2-5 year olds like a mean old grandma to stop throwing the balls! She wouldn't allow the children to play, she hovered over them like a hawk. She ACTIVELY took a lollipop out of the mouths of 3 toddlers! Instead of coming to us or other parents to tell the babies no candy in the play area, she took it upon herself to take the candy from their mouths and throw it away. She also made the children clean up after themselves with the toys. These are guests!! And we paid ALOT of money for people to attend and have fun and she made them clean!! Instead of coming to the parents. Horrible horrible service. I would NOT RECOMMEND this place to anyone who has active children who love to play. All they will do is make the kids clean and cry. I expected so much more from this place. The host name was Mayela and she made all of the guests feel unwelcomed and uncomfortable.

First time trying an escape room and both me and my 13 year old little (Big Brother Big Sister…read moreprogram) loved it! I won't give any spoilers but we had a great time trying to solve the various mysteries and puzzles to (shocker) try and escape. We did the Claim the Throne quest and it's def pretty tough for two. I booked an appt online for two the day before. Cost was 20 dollars a person which is fairly reasonable. We received a courtesy call from the establishment 15 minutes before our start time due to their concern about traffic from the UTEP monster truck rally. Super thoughtful of them! Thankfully we were already pulling in. Upon arrival we met with hour host. I didn't catch her name but she was very sweet and friendly. She provided the basic rules and took our phones (placed in a lock box in our room with us). This was to prevent people from taking photos and ruining the surprises! You go in the room and a short video plays to lay out the story. The only negative was the audio quality was bad so it was hard to hear. From there you begin. Your host monitors you from another room and provides tips and hints if you need it. I won't say anything further so as to not ruin anything. But the puzzles are tough and make you think. We had a great time. I would def go back to try their other room.

Slightly spooky and creatively designed escape room. The Slaycation puzzle was incredibly detailed,…read moreand the clues were cleverly arranged. I have never been to an escape room where I've heard players screaming, so that was the most unique aspect of Monkey Mayhem--the added thrill! The only downside for me was that it wasn't as challenging as I had hoped, and apparently this was a level 9 difficulty (out of 10). We got out with 15 minutes to spare. Though we didn't make it on the leaderboard, we all felt that the clues were rather straightforward. The portions that we lost time were for silly things that we should have had the common sense to figure out...which is always frustrating in the end! Regardless, I would definitely recommend this place for first time escaperoomers. I will be coming back to try Quest for Throne (even though the difficulty level is lower) to see if we can get on the leaderboard!

I've just been climbing for 3 months, but was going pretty regularly at my home gym, so I didn't mind making the 2 hour drive from my hotel to get to this place and keep my strength. The grading was pretty similar to my regular gym in LA and despite the relatively small size, there were plenty of fun and challenging bouldering problems to solve! I was there for a good 3.5 hours doing everything from V0 - V4s and there were challenging routes for some of their more advanced regulars going all the way up to V10. I liked their labeling system too which used playing cards to identify the grade (royals were v0, Ace was v1, etc)! Liz checked me in and was super helpful and friendly and even was out there climbing with us since it was a nice slow weekday afternoon. Can't wait to come back if work allows me to while I'm out here!

The first annual Brew at the Zoo! To sum it up in one word: (in my Stewie Griffin voice) Excellent…read more First off, who doesn't like beer? No one, that's who. Okay that's a stretch, but even for those who aren't keen on sampling ten different craft beers of their choosing, Brew at the Zoo offered wine. And boy did that wine go fast. I'm a big kid at heart and I absolutely love the zoo so when I found out that the El Paso Zoo was hosting an after-hours adult event I was elated! The cool part was there were animal encounters throughout the night... only animals that could be up in the wee hours of the night like the lizards and snakes, but the elephants were out and about too which was awesome. I didn't mind that a majority of the animals were sleeping away hidden from the public eye, but I would've liked for them to keep the entire zoo open so you could've caught a glimpse or two of the animals that are always on display like the sea lions. The animal encounters were kind of cool because you got to take pictures with the different reptiles (but no touching... which is understandable because of the size of the event). But you came to this review for the beer. The beer was awesome! I got introduced to a lot of different brews and left with some awesome knowledge like the fact that there's a store in EP where you can buy all the brewing supplies you would need to make your own stuff at home. So cool! There were quite a few different vendors and they were from all over the country. I'm sure they'll add more breweries next year, but honestly there was enough as is. And you also had the option to purchase the actual beers. Next year I'd just like to see more wine especially since there's a list of wineries nearby. There was food on hand, but only out of their cafes and a few stands. And it was very limited. Brats and pretzels were available in their cafes. The brats were pretty good (cut in half for some reason... even though you could only order two at a time). I picked up some chicharrones (sp?) and you know, they were chicharrones. There were a couple of other options, but I think they could benefit greatly from getting the Food Truck Circus involved next year... just saying. Options are nice. This event was one of my favorite events in El Paso. I hope they do this every year and I can only imagine it getting bigger and better every time.

At first, the price of admission seemed a little steep, but any such worries quickly dissipated once I learned that the proceeds benefited the EP Zoological Society, so it is fundraising for a worthwhile cause. Ultimately the $35 price of admission is similar to what other craft beer events in EP and you get just as many samples. The brewery lineup was very good, mostly from Texas, like Adelbert's (shout out to the 512!), but with a good number of other states well represented. We weren't expecting to discover anything new but we were pleasantly surprised to see Nebraska Brewing which was new to us. I think this event would be better in the afternoon rather than at night, that way we can check out the zoo's exhibits during the event. I really had a fun time, 2015 was the first year and I'm hoping for many future ones. The folks who put it together clearly worked very hard and they successfully sold out the event, I hope they take my feedback as constructive suggestions, I'm not mentioning them for the sake of being critical. Loved, loved, LOVED the no kids allowed policy!
