If you have kids, please read. Went to the place as it was acclaimed 'kids friendly', With my 5 and 2yo. 20 mins after a big wooden piece of furniture fell on my daughter in the kids' corner. She went completely under it and no one of the stuff came out to help or check on her, so she was laying on the ground while I was lifting it up. My Spanish is very poor as we've been in Mexico for two weeks so I called my husband who is Colombian as to speak to the manager and help them understand this wooden piece doesn't belong to the kids section. First I was told, avoiding any apology, that they didn't have a manager as it was. After 10 mins a lady came out who refused to speak to my husband on the phone since she was wearing flip flops( makes total sense). As I was trying to explain to her that the wooden thing was really unstable and was moving if I touched it, she first said it was not for kids and when I asked her why it's all colorful and was holding toys and was in the kids section, she screamed that I didn't have education and rapidly left, saying it was the child's fault. The restaurant was empty and all of the stuff went hiding inside as not to speak to me. I took my girls and left not understanding how it may be possible. I realize after living in the US for ten years that we are perhaps overprotected sometimes in the public places due to the possible law suits. But I also haven't faced yet such cruel attitude in this or other places we went. Writing this to warn parents of possible outcomes of attending this place.
