The food is not that good...the waiter is friendly...but there's another Mexican restaurant in town that puts this one to shame

Great food cooked fast. It is way better than Chavos I don't know why people still eat there.

After a six-hour drive from South Texas, we walked into Orlandeaux's Café hungry for real Louisiana…read morecooking not fast food, and immediately felt like we had found the right place. The welcoming atmosphere, lively vibe, and inviting aromas set the tone for a great meal. The food was packed with bold, satisfying flavor, the portions were generous, and the drinks were refreshing and hit the spot. It's the kind of place where you can relax, settle in, and enjoy good food and good company. What made the experience even more special was the history behind the restaurant. As you enter the main foyer, you'll find a chest filled with original menus, newspaper clippings, pictures, and other memorabilia that tell the story of the three men who started Orlandeaux's Café. It's truly amazing to see how much history is preserved there and makes this a must-try spot for anyone who appreciates great food and a meaningful story. My only disappointment was that they didn't have chargrilled oysters. Still, everything else came together for a memorable visit. Next time, I'm going to see if I can sit down with the manager to hear more about the history of this special place. If you're craving flavorful Louisiana cooking in a comfortable, enjoyable setting, Orlandeaux's Café is well worth the stop we'll definitely be back!
