It closes at 3am making it one of the latest spots open in the area and the perfect place to go after a night out. We waited in line to order and then got our food on the other side of the stand. We ordered the chicharron tacos ($20 MXN) which was crunchy and the salsa had a good level of spice. They also had more salsa on the side if you want more heat. They had no seating so you will have to take your food to go or eat it standing. Note that they are closed on Sundays but this is such a cool place to hang out at the end of the night. The food was good and cheap, and the vibes were cool. This is the epitome of street food.

Of the meats that we ordered my favorites were the al pastor ($20 MXN) and the bistek ($24 MXN). The portions were good for a great price and the service was good. Bonus that they also take credit card! They have a variety of different salsas that were not particularly spicy but were good. The provided condiments also included limes, pico de gallo, and pickled onions. Of all the taco places we had in Oaxaca this place was my favorite. The meat was tender and the portions were good, and we ended up coming back multiple times during our visit.

When we got there there was a line of people who hadn't yet ordered and others who were waiting for their food. Someone walked up to us asking for our order. Then we waited as they cooked everything in front of us and handing them to patrons. We got the chile relleno ($30 MXN) and mushroom tacos ($30). We liked the chile relleno one more as it was cheesy. Both tacos were a little oily but they were good. There were some salsa stations on the side for extra flavor. There was nowhere to sit so people either ate standing or took their food to go. This stall was authentic and the food was inexpensive. This was street food at its core.

You order as you like from the menu - try a couple things, then have more if you wish. While I love great maize tortillas, I have a special fondness for fresh, well made tortillas de harina (flour) and you can get both here.
