Oh my god, I miss this place already. Stumbled across in St. Pol del Mar, and had by far, the greatest duck I have ever had the privilege of tasting. But while I jump straight to the main course here, the bread and olive oil was perfect (especially after trying not to lose teeth on bread in other parts of Spain!), and my starter (apologies, I forget now what it was) fantastic also.
The once disadvantage of this place is being right along the trainline (which runs along the coast), so it was only the beautiful, sunny day that made the terrace worthwhile despite the train whistling past every 10 minutes.
But even with the occasionally inopportune noise, the cuisine here is incredible, and the only place I'll go to eat if ever back in town (partly because I can't afford the Michelin-starred restaurant down the street, but I doubt I missed out). read more
