This place is awesome.! The Food is unbelieved their queso is one of a kind a must have also the most dish I loved was Molcajete . Drinks are awesome, service is always great. It's usually packed but they manage to get you seated fairly quickly.I've had every special and the chicken tacos and all are delicious! Nothing else like it . This was the worst restaurant experience and the worst Mexican food we have ever had! The hostess seated us in a very wet booth. The chips and salsa were ok, but not the sticky queso. We waited and waited for our food. The restaurant thinned out to just a few finishing their lunch. The waitress came over with a flustered excuse that made us realize that our order got misplaced. We were so hungry having not eaten since 6 am and it was now 1 pm. Not too many restaurants in Alva, so we waited trusting that it would be worth the wait. Nope. The ground beef in the taco and enchilada had absolutely no seasoning or salt. The sauce was plain, low quality tomato sauce with zero seasoning like would come from a can- like the kind that is only used as an ingredient. It made the chili relleno soggy, mushy, and taste horrible. Usually, hunger makes the most meager fare edible, and we're not picky eaters, put we could not eat it. We will never go back. read more

We are on our way to the city and happened to stop by this place. I wasn't expecting much out of it but let me tell you I was amazed! It was seriously some of the best Mexican I've had. I'm giving this place the best review and here's why. Fairview is not a real town. It's a collection of snobby judgmental out of synch with the rest of the world jerks who all went to school together and enjoy running people out of town if they aren't white and don't attend the Mennonite brethren church. Every place to eat in this "town" is horrible. I don't think the people in this town even know what service is. This place opened up and although the name makes no sense at all to anyone who even know the basics of the Spanish language, the atmosphere was pleasant and cute. It was very clean and all the workers smiled at me. The bathrooms smelled great and were very clean. And my food was delicious. I might add to all the people leaving bad reviews that when you attend a Mexican restaurant it's helpful to order the food that's actually Mexican. Burgers aren't Mexican. Try their shrimp fajita taco salad. Then instead of sticking your nose in the air just because you don't know the owners, compare it to your darling taco mayo and Delgado. It's not even a comparison. If this restaurant closes down there won't be any place worth eating in fairview. read more

I usually get the cheesesteak burrito which is quite good. The white queso is very good but is a little pricy. The prices are fairly reasonable. Not everything is great tasting so it can be hit or miss. I for instance, as well as many of my friends and family, do not like their red sauce at all. They've updated the menu making it much easier to read now that most of the ads are gone. read more

Place is well decorated ... Very nice inside. Service was friendly but not great. Food ..... loved the chips, salsa and queso (you have to pay extra for the queso)..... the dinners were very small ... Smaller than what I would expect for a dinner portion ... Scratch that.... Smaller than what I would expect for even a lunch portion. The chicken on the fajita chicken nachos was actually similar to boiled chicken that had been thrown on a grill for a second ... Flavor was nice but it was filled with gristle and yucky stuff ... Not at all what I would call "chicken fajita" meat. No beans on the nachos either .. Which is weird. The bell peppers and onions were in giant chunks on top of the nachos..... should have been diced up to cover all the nachos. Very small plate too. Very very small!!!!! Flavor was good and I suspect if they change some things up they'll do ok. After all, their only competition in this town is taco mayo. Leaving hungry. First time I've ever left a Mexican restaurant wanting to order pizza. read more
