After awhile I just had to stop and give it a shot and I am glad I did. They offer a big variety of smoothies for every need. They're broken up into 5 different themes: fitness, energy, slim, wellness, and take a break. I usually stick with energy or wellness depending on how I'm feeling that day. There is also an option to "make it a meal" where they'll add a meal enhancer to any smoothie that will give you all the protein and fiber you need to keep you full until your next meal. I was skeptical but it actually does satisfy my hunger! The one kind of annoying thing about this location is the drive through. If you're coming from Douglas you have to do a U-turn to get into it and it's super narrow. There is also a wide and high curb between the window and the drive that makes you and the worker have to stretch to your limits to exchange money and drinks. I heard it was a construction mistake and I hope they plan on fixing it soon. But you can always go inside if you don't want to deal with that. Either way, I have been stopping by Smoothie King two or three times a week now. I'm so happy they opened a location downtown!
