Our party of four had the pleasure of eating at this Micheline Star restaurant on a trip to Spain last fall. Situated high atop a golf course and overlooking fountains and greens it was a beautiful setting. We arrived for dinner at 7:30 and didn't leave until well past midnight.
We all did the gourmets tasting with wine pairing and it was stunning in both flavour and appearance. The hostess was knowledgable and her english was very very good.
We started with a terrine of alternate layers of marinated chicken breast with foie-gras and caramelized apple. The carmelized apple had a crunch to it that reminded me so much of a candy apple, this was my favorite course of the night. It was follwed by Cold roasted tomato with goat cheese, rocket, quince and pine nuts, Grilled octopus with creamed potato and truffles, Young goat shoulder vegetable tabule, soya and orange yogurt and finished with a trio of sorbets. Before the dessert course we were allowed to sit and have our cigars with a wonderful glass of port.
This is as good as it gets really and its worth splurging for a once in a lifetime opportunity like this. read more
