El Hacebuche was one of the highlights of our Andalusian gastronomic sojourn, with its emphasis on local, seasonal dishes (some rare) made fresh to order. The experience is enhanced and orchestrated by the attentive owner, a genial man named Antonio, who hails from Malaga, the source for his almejas/clams recipe. (Highly recommend.) Antonio made Beloved, Wunderkind and I feel as if we were his special guests, and we surrendered to his suggestions. I recommend you do the same.
It's a small mesón located off the Plaza Guerrero Muñoz, where there's usually a lively evening scene, including live music at times, and views of the castle. The perfect historical setting for a most memorable dining experience, served in a personalized manner. Enjoy! read more
