I've posted pictures to substantiate my review. I went here and was promptly seated. No English menu but not a problem as I know Greek food.
I ordered a beer, saganaki, octopus and a small greek salad.
Beer tasted fine but when the order came out, I thought it was portions for a child! Time for another beer!
The saganaki has no taste...it was a recently defrosted cheese triangle. It has no flavor, no ouzo, no flame, just lousy breaded cheese out of a microwave. It's the worst saganaki I ever had. And who the hell served breaded out of the freezer box saganaki? It's pan fried in ouzo. Learn how to cook greek!!!
The octopus wasn't flavorful and had no balsamic or even seasoned with salt and pepper. Seriously, my pinky is larger than the portion and for nearly 12 Euro? Come on! It shouldn't be more than 3.50E.
The salad was a small salad but nothing special. More tomatoes and cucumbers than anything. Old olive oil tasting dressing at the bottom, onions and 4 olives. Really, 4 olives! At least the olives were salty, like out of a can.
I could have gone to Aldi, chopped tomatoes and cucumbers and called myself a greek salad master.
This is one of the few times I haven't tipped. There wasn't even a complementary ouzo is offered before or after dinner. I've never seen that before. I'd rather go to a donner kebab place rather than this place. At least they are honest about their cooking. IN NO WAY is this place even close to Greek cooking, even for Gernany!
Waitress never asked if I liked my meal. didn't care...Most of the time, she was sitting at a nearby table shooting the crap with either locals or friends.
Should have tried a different greek restaurant. Never here again. read more
