If you stop by the address for Beef Brothers listed by Google and you see a burger joint with a…read moredifferent name, don't be alarmed. You're in the right spot. Not sure why thing are set up this away, but alas, what's important is that at the end of the day, you'll have a great meal. Ambiance (3/5): Beef Brothers has a small interior with a few tables and no A/C. The place to be is on the patio in front of the restaurant. Al fresco dining is the way to go in Europe. The restaurant is on a busy street with lots of others restaurants, bars, and shops in the vicinity. Service (4/5): We stopped by on a Friday for dinner. You order at the counter and they will bring your food out to you. As a fast casual restaurant, service isn't a big part of the experience. With that being said, the guy working the cash register was friendly and took our order without any hiccups. Drinks (3.5/5): Bottled soft drinks and beers are what's offered here. Including some craft brews. Since we were having drinks after, we stuck with alcoholic beverages. I had an iced tea. Food (4.5/5): To my surprise, Germany has a big burger culture. While I was skeptical as I'm an American and I know we do burgers right, I was most definitely proved wrong. Beef Brothers has a creative menu of burgers. You'll see a Mexican burger with guacamole, you'll find an American burger with BBQ sauce and onion rings, and more. My burger was cooked just right and oozing with flavor. The veggies were fresh. The bun was fresh and lightly toasted. All in all, a great burger. To further add to the fun, Beef Brothers has loaded fries. I'm a sucker for loaded fries, so I couldn't say no. My fries had melted cheese and bacon bits on them. The fries delivered too. If you're not looking for something quite as filling, they have regular fries too. We were looking for an affordable meal that would give us a nice base layer for a night out drinking. Beef Brothers accomplished that with flying colors. If you're looking for a solid burger in Cologne, this is a great spot to check out.

Best burger I had in Cologne so far! I tried almost everything on the menu and they are all great!…read moreThe fries is also very good in every aspect. Highly recommended.

OH MY GOD! This place has the best burger I have ever had (aka a gourmet McDonalds Double Patty…read moreBurger). My friend and I had made reservations for 8:15, yet when we walked in, a waitress greeted us and said we could sit where ever. She was so kind. We sat in the back at a four top and started glancing over the menu. While it was all in German, most of it I could understand and if not, GoogleTranslate was more than happy to understand for me. They gave us English menus as well, but I was too stubborn to accept. The waitress was adorable and spoke near perfect English. We ordered burgers with fries and Hard Cider. I also had a Caesar salad to start. Everything was delicious... like mouth watering delicious. We saved half of the burger to take home and I am eating it right now. We ended the night with the Cheesecake while the nicest man took our burgers away to be put into doggy bags. Between the attentive service, 90s music atmosphere, and the food this is my favorite spot in Koln. I wish I was staying longer to eat there again!!!

It was Delicious and my belly was full. The service was ezcellent. based on this, I would really want to go try the burgers too. It would seem like a fun place at night. The music selection is pretty good here. I recall Soul Asylum's "Runaway Train" and Ryan Adams' "wonderwall" among others

An authentic Korean BBQ place located about 15 minutes drive from the Cologne Cathedral. The set…read moremenu consists of: three layered pork belly; sirloin; marinated beef; duck; shrimp; and squid. Bulgogi Haus offered four types of sauces when two is the norm, for varying combinations of flavors. The meats are grilled in front of you on charcoal, and the servers take care to replace the charcoal at least once so that you are not eating burnt pieces of meat. I really liked the concept of having the side dishes buffet-style. It's really a mood-killer when you run out of lettuce or salad in the middle of eating your meats then waiting for your server to refill your salads. The offerings included fried calamari, Korean-sushi, sticky and sweet potatoes, fish cakes, and kimchi. Bulgogi-Haus does not seem to use MSG, even in their yummy kimchi, and I was simply content after the meal without having to reach for extra glasses of water. Kudos for having a coat rack separate from the dining tables so that the coats don't smell like meat after, and kudos for the plum wine/aloe drinks on the house!

I'm from Australia where there is a large presence of Korean food. Trust me, you will not be disappointed. It was easy travel on the U-Bahn (tram) from Cologne central station. Welcoming break from all the heavy Bavarian food. Highlights: 1. The service 2. Friendly staff 3. Fresh meat and seafood 4. Unlimited Kim chi and rice buffet. So many different styles! 5. Cheap!! 6. Located away from a touristy area...so you know it's made for locals and not just a fast food place. I will be back again, hungry for more! Only next time I'll definitely make a booking to be safe
