A+ -We ordered a garden salad and beets for appetizers. My wife loved the salad and I loved the beets. -For my main entree, I ordered the rib eye, well done. It was cooked perfectly, with a touch of pink on the inner cuts. Best piece of meat I've had since I came to Mexico 5 months ago! -The steaks are big, meant to be shared. Great place to come with some hungry meat-loving guys and gals : ) -I also ordered a side of fries--they were delicious, but my wife ate most of them : ) She ordered the lentil soup and LOVED it. But the vibe here is different, its more a classic upscale steakhouse that will seat you if you arrive in sandals and shorts, The food is generally fantasitic, with surprise hits like the lentil soup and roasted beets being simply spectacular. It can run a bit pricey for Merida but it is also one of the better meals you will find with a truly attentive and courteous staff.
