Of course I read reviews on google and home advisor as well as recommendations from neighborhood blogs. I interviewed the companies and looked at their techniques and their design ideas and gave them my plans. I called references and in the end having two left we felt we had gotten almost there. The deciding factor for us was the salesperson Erich at Perfect Pavers. Erich was not over assertive but he earned our business by asking for it with his guarantee of performance and his calls and texts. We knew he wanted to earn our business and he was sincere and convincing. Luckily for us our pavers were promptly dropped as promised and his crew begin the prep work. 3 days later with over 2500 SF of pavers installed I can't say enough about how pleased we are. The crew was so professional. They took a short lunch break each day and worked from 9-5. They removed our existing driveway and sidewalks, prepped the site, put down paver base, installed pavers which included custom cuts, retaining beds and curves. They mortared in edges, sanded the pavers and cleaned up everything. Will will let the pavers cure before we seal them. If you are considering paver companies all I can say is don't hesitate to include Perfect Pavers in your consideration. I promise you wont be disappointed. We were so impressed with his commitment and the quality of the work/product that we quickly asked him to add paver pathways, redo a pool to include the courtyard deck and to add a fire pit. Paul and Brian worked endlessly coordinating the pool company and their own team to be sure that the job was flawless and even went above and beyond when they experienced a less than stellar response from the gas company in the installation of the fire pit. Rubricx was the most expensive bid, but I got the distinct impression that the others would rush the job and were cutting corners, especially with regards to foundation preparation. Last thing I want is to spend money and find myself with problems a few years down the line. Joseph was very responsive and took the time to discuss all my concerns with me. I wasn't disappointed with my decision. The crew was great and did first rate work, responsive to my idea about installing a catch basin to be able to capture debris as part of the drainage system modifications, and generally went above and beyond. The driveway turned out beautifully. As I said, perhaps a bit more expensive, but if you are someone who cares about quality and value for your money, I highly recommend.
