One of the best places I have been to in PR --and I have been to one too many over the past 15 years. A must go if you are into red meat, though the fish options proved to be very neat too. I'll try to be short. I had the chuletón de ternera with a red wine and tamarind reduction sauce. Flawless. Both the meat and the sauce were divine. The chips de batata (white sweet potato) I had as a side were the right choice, though the tostones de pana (you have to ask if they have it) were also perfect and fresh. Since I tried everyone's dish because I am a pain in the gut I can also tell you the short ribs were falling of the bone and the BBQ sauce was not too sweet, with a nice touch of ginger. The churrasco (skirt steak) with chimichurri was excellent and really, really tender. If you have children, you can order one for two (and get a bite yourself). The costillas de cordero (lamb ribs) were also perfect but they serve only two of them and it is not local meat, so I would go with the beef. Finally, my mother in law had the filete de dorado (mahi mahi) with a vinagreta de mango (mango salsa, actually) that was really fresh, moist in the inside, and crispy on the outside. In short, everything was cooked to perfection AND exactly to each person's preferred doneness, which sometimes in an issue in PR. Not in this place. And the sauces were really delicate and flavorful, 100% made in the house. I do not have any pictures because I started devouring the dish as soon as everyone was served, but presentation is also very neat. read more
