We happened upon this place while walking around Tarragona on a Friday night. It was one of the few we passed that looked really lively so we figured it would be legit. (Note: we came during the off season). Both levels of the restaurant were full and there were even some people eating at the bar downstairs.
Our waitress recommended the Iberico secret (pork), which was really good. Hubby particularly enjoyed the fried fish. My favorite was the foie gras with quail egg on toast (under the "hot sandwich section"). The English translated menu doesn't quite do the food justice but everything was very yummy. I even broke a wine glass and they were very nice about it. I had initially planned on something fancier for our last meal in Spain but I really enjoyed this. It's also super affordable! read more
