El Comalito Collective is great! The shop is a much needed addition to the Vallejo area. It's a great place to find gifts for loved ones, friends, and yourself! There's a wide variety of beautiful and colorful arte to choose from....the colors are definitely what drew me to the store in the first place! The store owners are very friendly as well, and I love their mission and the reason why they opened the studio. They also have different art shows and activities at their studio. While I haven't been yet, they always sound great :) This is such an awesome local business to support, I'm glad they opened up in Vallejo. Keep up the great work! read more

What a great surprise. Full of beautiful things to buy and art to look at (also for sale). Cant wait to take a class.

This place is a must-see! I stumbled upon the place when exploring downtown Vallejo during the art walk. I later came back searching for a birthday gift for a friend. The young man there, who is one of the artists of the collective, was very knowledgable about every single piece in the shop! I ended up buying a cute wooden box and a painting made by a 9 year old girl from Guatemala. All of the art they carry make for great, thoughtful gifts. If you're not looking to shop, it's still worth going in. They have an art gallery in the back the rotates every month. It's very nice to see a place like this in Vallejo. I've always said that this town has so much potential. It's great to see someone using that potential. I will definitely be back many times! read more

Found this by chance and I'm so happy my daughter went. We have been looking for a kids version of PaintNite and we found it !!! El Comalito Collective offered a great event "Sugar Skull" Painting with Monique Lopez teaching. They had a spread of food and drink for the kids too. The kids walked away with a unique painting they created themselves and a friendship bracelet too, as well as an fantastic experience of being together and having fun. Excellent !!!! read more

Now that it is almost time to go back to school, I went to El Comalito Collective to buy a backpack. I figured I needed a new item for the school year. I enjoyed the space, so many beautiful pieces of art. I wanted to take them all. I was very impressed by the fact that El Comalito Collective is a combination of a small arts and crafts shop and a gallery. I've been told that different artists are invited to show their work in the gallery free of charge (as of right now.) Painting and wine events, as well as craft events are also held at El Comalito Collective and I can't wait to be part of such events. I am not a painter but I can always pretend I am while sipping on some shiraz. What an incredible way to help the Latino Artists Community. read more

This is such a great newer addition to downtown Vallejo! The owners offer a great, decently priced selection of handmade gifts and decor. Their gallery shows interesting work that is well curated, relevant, and of a high quality. It's definitely setting the bar a little higher. On top of that, the owners are SUPER nice, welcoming. I love this store! Edgar, the owner is so sweet and friendly. I am new to the Vallejo area so it's great to have already found a place I can call my second home. They always have some sort of party for the Art Walk, and the art in this space is always so well curated and beautiful.
