    Yesterday we met some dear friends at Sanbrovo to enjoy a night out…read more My wife and I have been waiting to come here, to try their steaks. We greeted by very friendly valet parking attendant, since it was raining they walked us in with big umbrellas. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice roomy and Airy, and the chairs are extremely comfortable. To start off we ordered our drinks, and a caesar salad for an appetizer, and we split it between my wife and I, the Caesar salad was absolutely delicious, cold and crispy. I ordered the New York strip steak with Cambray potatoes $525 mxp My wife ordered the Grilled Chicken Breast with pepper cream sauce and french fries. $225 mxp I asked for my Steak medium rare, and when I received it it was bloody rare, so of course I needed to send it back, when it finally arrived, the meat was cooked to the temperature I asked for, but the Steak was extremely tough. It supposed to come with Cambray potatoes, they only gave me 3 1/2 small potatoes, what a joke, the the grilled onion was hard and not cooked. You can see in my photo I took. I asked for a side of french fries, they arrive in a little cup and where cold. $80 mxp And to top it off I asked for some A1 sauce and they had no idea what I was talking about, a steakhouse with no A1 sauce they should be ashamed of themselves. My wife's chicken was very dry, with no taste and very little French fries, you would think the amount of money we're paying will we get extra potatoes. Now I see why people go to Texas Roadhouse or Sonora Grill. Our way to Jaime was very nice , he was very attentive, but needs more training he bring out food at different times which is one of our pet peeves. For dessert we splurge and we had: Carajillo Sanbravo $ 235 Chocolate lava cake with coffee, almond and cocoa nibs brittle, chocolate ice cream, coffee foam, flamed licor 43 This was the best part of the meal. We always ask ourselves will we come back to this restaurant the answer is absolutely no, what a total waste of money. Chef Bob Lissandrello Yucatan Food Critic
