There is a movie loyal program but there is no good movies to watch, so not worth it, but do love the reclining seats with food delivery. I came here on a weekday evening to go skating. My boyfriend and I were basically the only guests in the whole place with the exception of 1 kid and his parent. The music was great. It was a mix of pop/rnb/hip hop. Perfect songs to skate to. I actually enjoyed that the rink was empty. The price for skating was a little over $30 for the two of us and included rental. That was a little steep to me. Refreshments are also expensive. A bottled water is $5. It it is 2023 so was to be expected but still a little disappointing. The skates are definitely old and several pairs are missing stoppers. I did see the attendant cleaning the skates so that was impressive. We decided on Funplex because it was the only place that was available for open skate. Other rinks have limited hours or lessons during the week.

Yes there are fans but if you are someone who gets hot easily, bring something to cool you down. --- The prices are great!!! My boyfriend and I spent $35 and were there for 2 1/2 hours we bought two drinks two candy bars and then the $15 each which includes the shoe rental. 100% going again!! We drove almost an hour the first time, so instead of driving home another hour, we went and ate, and came back at 3:10pm. The doors were locked when we got there, so we called the number to the business, and a young man answered the phone. We asked him if they were open, and he got a smart attitude and said that it says 3:00pm on the door in the most disgusting and disrespectful way you could talk to somebody. The way he talked to me, I will never go up there and give them a dirty red cent of my money. They need to update their website and put the new times up there for the next victims that are dumb enough to give them their money. They need to fire whoever is answering the phone, and get schooled on hospitality and manners. They lost a customer for life! This is why people from Brenham won't support local businesses, because they are pompous a$$oles!!! Brenham standup, and boycott these scumbags!!!! Hopefully they will go out of business, and a new owner will take over! Until then, I will make the trip to Houston and spend my money somewhere cheaper, and more hospitable. I tried to support local, but they changed my mind in an instant! Absolutely disgusting and disgraceful behavior! If I could give zero stars, I would!

The Houston location of Pinstripes has been long gone, but the void it left is still felt. The…read moreconcept was a compelling one: an event space and family destination built around bowling, anchored by an all-you-can-eat weekend brunch. Simple in theory, brilliant in execution, and one that no other venue has successfully replicated since. The space was gorgeous. The ample dining space, dedicated private rooms, and gourmet bowling alleys across the place was a sight to behold. This experience cost a pretty penny, which is partially what doomed them in the first place. As a brunch destination, it was a hot mess, largely due to their staff which had a hard time to keep up with the demand. The waits without reservations were brutal and even ones that arrived with reservations would still have to wait if the seating arrangements weren't done properly. The food itself was solid, featuring premium items like prime rib and mean herb roasted chicken, along with smoked salmon, shrimp cocktails, and even a dessert fondue. Throw in a few pasta + pasta dishes for the kids, along with an omelette station. At $35, this was a good value. The bowling experience was always their best asset. Lane reservations were a cinch, and the bowling balls were always quality. The area was well maintained and had a decent amount of seating for groups. Shoes and socks were always included in the $20 per person/per hour deal, which for River Oaks standards is on par price wise. While they live on in other cities, I do think Pinstripes was onto something in Houston. While it may not have fully materialized into what they envisioned, it did lay enough ground work to see the possibility was there. Here's hoping they find another home in H-Town in the near future.
