I saw this place on my way to another restaurant, told myself I was going to eat here before leaving Barcelona.
This little spot is basically a bar/eatery, nothing fancy, nothing big. There is a bar when you first enter, then there are a few tables down these steps with a tv on the wall.
They give you a menu, basically the food here is not complicated, just straight up meats, sandwiches, fries, fish and a few other things. I ordered the pork chops with eggs and fries. If you're ok with greasy fries, this is your spot, the pork chops were ok, eggs cooked well, and they serve it with a few slices of baguette.
The food itself is not a big deal, this place would be perfect for those looking for a cheap, convenient spot with a few Spanish dishes, of course you would not order tapas here because it's not a tapas restaurant.
Prices are good, I paid 8€ for the 2 eggs, 3 small pork chops, and fries with 2 cokes. That's not too bad, this would be good for back packers, people on a budget or anyone want quick and cheap food. Like I mentioned, the food is not the best cuisine Barcelona has to offer, but it's quick, cheap and hits the spot. read more
