So up against that, I sometimes am disappointed by the Mexican food I get at home in the US, far closer to Mexico than Germany. I haven't eaten a whole lot of Mexican food outside of North America, but some of the most bland I've ever had has been on another continent. Enchilada is not that kind of Mexican restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by the place. We went there one night for dinner. We arrived somewhat late, but they were still open and there were several tables occupied by people eating. The restaurant seemed to be a fairly popular place to hang out on the weeknight we were there. As is often the case, parking was difficult, but we lucked out and got a space across the street. They had a fair selection of local beers and a pretty extensive menu. I got an enchilada platter which included two enchiladas, Mexican rice, a few chips and a little salad. The enchiladas came with a little chili on them, unusual, but it worked. My meal tasted good, and had a good flavor to it. My wife got a plate of nachos which turned out to be absolutely massive, but very good and loaded with toppings. Overall, we liked this place. Their Mexican food is quite good and though I have had better closer to Mexico, I think it does the cuisine justice. If I were in the area, I would go here again.

Expect lots of radiant orange nacho cheese. No queso fresco, or even Tex Mex queso. For what it is, It's not bad, and will probably satisfy an inebriated burrito craving, but pales in comparison to even Midwestern Mexican-American joints. Also the menu is rather slim, just burritos and quesadillas and mostly chicken options. I have observed a lot of people coming in to just get chips and guac, so maybe I'll do a follow up with that later. However we are in Germany, so I give it 3 stars given its location. If you're about to fly to the States or Mexico, I think you're better off waiting to scratch that itch when you get there!

What a happy accident it was to discover this place. This place has surprisingly good cocktails!…read more I'm kind of a cocktail hardass - demanding high expectations and quality standards - and this place delivers. My measure of any mixologist is an Old Fashioned. I almost didn't believe my first sip, so I chose to take a second. And a third. And then I started swishing, covering all parts of my palate with that slightly sweet, slightly earthy splash of chilled happy-maker with just the right touch of orange. I've been here for breakfast a few times, and while none of the breakfast options are going to win any prizes for creativity, they are good quality, tasty, and get the job done. I advise against the burger and anything under the "Tex-Mex" menu. The burger meat is disappointing, to say the least, and the "Tex-Mex" is anything BUT. I mean, it includes chicken wings and cheese sticks fer chrissakes! Also, they *literally* don't know how to make a burrito. A friend of mine had her burrito come out looking like, well, chili spilled all over her plate with a flour tortilla folded in half over it. Come for cocktails, breakfast, or German food. Skip anything relating to burgers or "Tex-Mex".

This doesn't come close to Vato's Tacos in Berlin, or any hole in the wall in SoCal, but when in Munich, I'll take it! I recently came back here for a second visit, and I ordered a chicken burrito. Per the guy's recommendation, I got it with jalepenos with a #2 out of 4 spicy. Usually in Europe when they say it's spicy, it's not going to be. But my lips were burning when I was eating this burrito, so be careful going spicier than that! I just wish they wouldn't put so much lettuce on the burrito. I mean, why is there any lettuce at all, let alone a ton of lettuce?

To be fair, we only have the enchilada plate with Salsa Verde and it was pretty legit. The chicken was cooked very well and seasoned well. The salsa Verde and sour cream sauce we great. I have been searching for Enchiladas and only found one other place withe them in Munich and those were just OK. I will definitely be back here even just to eat the enchiladas. Place is cute and staff was very friendly. Good was fast, fresh and hot. Definitely recommend for the enchiladas. Can't speak to anything else yet.

The people working here are all really nice, and they speak Spanish, so I had high expectations. What I got was... OK. I ordered the vegan tacos, and they were pretty bland, and it was hard to tell which was which because they just tasted sort of the same. And even with guacamole and hot sauce on top, they were just OK, but nothing I would go out of my way for, which was kind of disappointing. Most of the people I came with are not Mexican food aficionados/experts, so they were pretty satisfied with their choices, but I don't think I'd come here again.
