I am completely inspired to try and replicate this at home. Pimientos de Padron are small jalapeño looking peppers but they are not hot were grilled in olive oil and sprinkled with sea salt and they were delicious. Datiles con Bacon, you can't go wrong with bacon and dates! Frito Mallorquin de Matanzas was a pork stew, and oh so good. The server enticed me with decaf con leche and I thought that was the perfect end. Then to top the meal, a bottle arrived with a liquor only made on this island. Heirbas is anise, orange flowers...and.... Garlic was just right. Cuttlefish squid ink croquettes - Good crust. Squid ink is an acquire taste and different. But we also liked it. Grilled Lamb chop -it was the best lamb chop I've ever tasted. It's not just how they grilled it but the quality of the lamb and also they are baby lamb, not gamey and very tender. Even the fries, the baked/roasted garlic and the chili was amazing. Grilled octopus - The lamb chop was so good that even the grilled octopus was pretty outstanding, you don't really notice anymore. The sauce there made with olive was impressive. Very delicious. We were a group of 6 and got the portion for 4, and it was still way too much! I would say to get half as many portions as you are people in the group - especially if you're ordering other food too. The local prawns melted in your mouth and were just delicious. The Calamar Andaluza and Seafood Croqeutas were great tries but the highlights were definitely the 2 dishes above. Each dish had such a stunning flavor and this was easily one of the best restaurants we went to in the Soller area. If you want to order Paella make sure you go to their website and contact them a day ahead of time so they can prepare it for you. The chef came outside a few times to check on everyone which I thought was so sweet and really shows how much he cares about the quality of the food he serves. We had actually passed this place up as we were getting gelato one of the nights and things were shutting down. We knew we needed to come back here when the kitchen was open and our stomachs were wide open. The next day after a long beach day and being extra hungry, we made SURE we came. Despite not having any reservations, they let the five of us sit pretty quickly and we had the best waiter that made us crack up the whole time. We ordered a bit of everything for the table to share, they had plenty of vegetarian tapas options for us while our friends also decided to go all out with seafood. When in Mallorca, right? They use the freshest of the seafood and this was for sure a great spot to enjoy it at.
