This review is NOT based on the craftsmanship, but rather his lack of professionalism and poor ethics. In May 2020, I hired his company to install a new blacktop driveway and retaining wall. Price was reasonable, done timely, and the finished product was very nice. The pre-existing material removed from my walkway included over 2 tons of timber lumber and massive tree stumps/roots that he dumped on my FRONT lawn! I Had an appraisal a week later, called him to find out when he was removing it and he refused! Claims he didn't have a place to dump debris. This is a licensed business. My contractor also reached out and pleaded with him to haul it away and he became indignant on the phone. Needless to say, I had to hire several day laborers, rent a van and take it to Clarkstown dump site to get it out in time for the appraisal. We NEVER did a contract, but I paid him by check and have reported the incident. It's a violation to conduct business over $500 without one so I reported him to the office of professional practices. Never would have used him if I'd known this.

When Spring came around this year again, I had to dethatch my lawn again because so much thatch had been left unraked by the company to begin with. I also had to reseed, to try to get the lawn all one color. We specifically told the company that we needed to have our lawn looking great, so that we might have the option of putting the house on the market within a couple of years. This company was highly recommended, so we are very put out and disappointed. We paid a lot of money for the work, & I ended up having to redo everything myself by hand. I am including pictures of the patchwork looking colors of the lawn, as well as the wheelbarrows full of thatch that I raked and hauled back into my woods.
