Great customer service, very clean parking spots (a total of three reserved parking spots) Smog shop is located on the corner and has a quickly mart in the same parking lot. Luckily I was the only one there so my smog was really quick, less than 10 mins total time from start to finish. Price was very reasonable and in line with other smog shops. read more

Quickest smog check that I've ever done. I usually go to USA Auto for my smog checks, but of course along with the smog check they always "find" something wrong that needs to get fixed on the vehicle. I already have a great mechanic (Bobby) with Motor City Auto Care, so I already know what needs to be maintained or repaired because Bobby would have reminded me. EJ's smog was quick, efficient, and the value was good. Took about 10 minutes and I was done. I didn't have to hear about brakes needing to be changed, unnecessary fluid flushes, or non itemized estimates for premature scheduled work. Will come back next year for sure. read more

That time of year has come again: time to renew my car registration. Along with it, is the annual smog check. For years and years I've been going to the same place which was great because it's local, I know the hours, and never had any issues. Today however, my usual spot was unexpectedly closed for who knows why, so I had to find another smog check. Thank you Yelp, because if you, I found another place down the road at EJ's. Easily accessible from a major street and it's in the parking lot of a convenience store. I didn't have any cars ahead of me, but if there were, it's be perfect to hop inside for a little snack while I wait. The experience went smoothly, and at under ten minutes, it was also quickly. Turns out also, this place is close to my home. Looks like I've found my new regular spot. read more

Nice guy!! Go here for your Smog.. Individual owner/operator.. I took my 2005 Corolla there this past Friday... I have been there before & will keep going... I won't go to the mechanic shops who offer coupons because they are looking to find something wrong with your car that isn't while it is there...
