Took my son to this park lots to see! Man made lake where you can fish, there's a few jungle gyms. I saw a lot of people hosting birthday parties as photo shoots. The park was clean and very spacious.

What a cute little park. It's always so peaceful when we come here and I appreciate that it is cleaner than most. I love the waterfalls and the cute little creek. Everything is so green and pretty and there are plenty of places to picnic. Compared to some of the other parks I have been to, this park doesn't have a gross amount of bird/duck poop. I did see a very interesting duck the last time I was there, it was reddish in color. The bridge with the fountain over the creek and the duck pond is adorable. The squirrels love to taunt my dog here. Benches near the lake to sit on and fishing is available, though we have yet to catch any. Parking is always easy. Also, there is a Del Taco across the street.

Such a serene place. A great afternoon of rest, relax and reflect 3

A hidden gem! I would recommend checking this park out if you're in the area. A nice rest and relax spot

These squirrels are really taken care of here

Definitely love coming here to watch the sunset and be able to see all the ducks. It's a great to walk. Sometimes I bring my dog here just to go on a little bit of a walk. It's definitely calming. There's like ducks and they have this huge pond, very relaxing and calming park. Also has a little play area for children swings and stuff

    Lots of ducks and squirrels

This park is very nice, but you do need to be careful with young kids or elderly near the water. Overall the park is clean and pleasant despite the fact that there are homeless people camping and hanging around at the park. There is a restroom facility closer to the main entrance side. The main parking lot is a bit of a distance from the large pond, but you can drive toward Short Street, and there is another small parking area next to the large pond by the residential condos/apartments.

I have loved this park for years - it has a lot of fabulous memories. There are sidewalk pathways to walk throughout. Lots of lush, green area to relax, have a picnic, party, play, or even roll down a hill. Bathrooms available. Lots of cool trees, brush, streams, bridges, 2 playground areas and a huge lake that gets stocked with live fish to enjoy. There are ducks, geese, turtles, and bunnies wandering around. It is such a feel good place to come and enjoy at. Decent sized parking lots and street parking available.

No barrier blocking access to the water.

PERFECT park for kids to explore and spend useful development time. It's the kind of park that encourages creativity and "self-play" the most notable feature being a huge amount of waterworks and rivers with rocks that can be climbed on. The river empties into a huge lake but the more interesting part is the river and the mini waterfalls. Kids love crossing the river by jumping on the stones and finding bugs and wildlife near the water. There are also a lot of clam shells around the water. There are all sorts of hills, elevations, and pathways that are great for exercising and walking on. There are also 2-3 classic playgrounds but we spend much more time running around the water. There are a lot of ducks and geese, we feed them canned corn because bread is bad for them. If anyone knows if there is something better to feed ducks let me know!

    Dog friendly park!

Came on a whim with my dog Super loving this place! Located in a residential area kind of tucked away and may have driven by not knowing this place was here Street parking available 3 different parking lots (one off of bixby and butterfield) No fees for parking Dog friendly Party friendly Standing bbq pits Kid friendly - 2 to possibly 3 playgrounds Adult friendly Arrived a bit before 6:30am very quiet and serene. Felt safe and already a few folks walking the park and the pulling into the area. Very clean park. Lot of mature trees and shade provided. Plenty of ducks geese but surprisingly the pathways are well maintained and clean. There is lake to go fishing. Love the park benches made out of recycle material and signs hidden that y'all about the history of the area. Plenty of paces to walk and run and be out in the open. There high ground low ground some steep spots but not to challenging. Super dog friendly park easy to maneuver through. Not sure if I saw dog bag dispensers but please pick up after your dog with the various signs posted and just in general practice. Definitely a place to return to! Love this hidden gem! Great place to get recharged and the week going!

Really like this park to unwind and listen to running water flowing to the pond. The animals making their natural noise adds to the ambiance. Many benches to brake at from a jog or walk. You'll enjoy this park if you venture out to the city of Orange. California.

This park is well taken care of. No trash, the two playgrounds were great for the kids and there are ducks all around the park. There is a stream with rocks running through the park and it ends in a lake. There are many clean restrooms with lots of toilet paper and countless trash around the walkways. Families and people exercising everywhere all around the park. Great place for a picnic too! Parking is in the north and west side of the park. This park is near a residential area.

The lake is relatively small compared to other park lakes, but it's nice. Ucan . Don't know if they stock it or not. Never caught nothing. There's a playground for kids. It's a nice, clean park. Closes at 11pm.

Has a pond w fountain & bridges. Great photo op 5.19.22

Was in city of Orange and promised the kids we'd stop by a park. Wanted to go to a nice park. Yelped a park and this one came up w 4.5 stars and a lake. This was the perfect park. Google maps took me past the entrance thru a neighborhood street so We had to you turn back. The address for the park was off Tustin. Went on a Thursday evening. Lots of people taking professional photography for quinceañeras & proms photo. It Has a pond w fountain & bridges. Great photo park Indeed. Lots of ducks & geese's too. We parked in the neighborhood street. They do have a small parking lot inside the park off Lincoln street, than you make a right after the 1st light into a neighborhood & another right into the 1st street. It'll lead you to the bigger lake pond off Lincoln street. Park has 2 playground with wood chips. There is also parking into the parking lot. Highly recommended with lots of tables around the playground area where we enjoyed our treat & drinks while kids play.

*Be aware of Rattle snakes out on the deeper walking trails during this season*…read moreThis is a fantastic park for families, parties, and individuals who love walking their dogs. Heads up, entrance fee/parking is $3 on weekdays and $5 on weekends. There is so much to see and do here! Snack Bar, Pony rides, a train that travels around the inner part of the park, horseback riding lessons (3rd party company), picnic areas, bike rentals, and giant wheel floating tricycles on the pond! To walk their inner perimeter pathways, where all the trees are, it's about a mile out and a mile back. If you have kids, they will love looking for the ground squirrels or wild peacocks, the train, ponies and more! There is so much wide open grassy space close to parking. There are several parking lots scattered all throughout the park. So you are always close to your care and nature. This last week, I walked a dog every day there and 3 outs of the 5 days, i encountered a rattle snake, not a big deal and it is after all...nature! Theirs was out on the more extensive hiking and walking trails beyond the main area. During spring and summer, it is good to carry a stick to help deter the snakes. I also would not use headphones out on the trails for this reason. Stay alert, and you will stay safe. If you have any concerns, always check in with a park ranger! It can get crowded on the weekends, specifically afternoons when a lot of parties and family gatherings are happening.

Right at the entrance, there's a small $3 parking fee if you go on a weekday collected by a park ranger who was very friendly and helpful. If you go on the weekends, parking fee is $5 and larger vehicles such as an RV or bus may be higher. Once you drive in, you quickly realize how massive the park is. There are multiple parking lots throughout, and you kind of have to explore a bit to find the perfect spot. Some areas have BBQ grills, others have playgrounds for kids, and there are plenty of open grassy fields as well as shaded areas filled with trees. The park really has something for everyone. There are hiking trails, wide paths for walking, and even a small zoo. Inside the zoo, there's a petting area that's perfect for little kids, which adds to the overall family friendly vibe. I also appreciated the upkeep of the park. I notice several lots has trash cans and restrooms, and the restrooms I went into were stocked with toilet paper, which is always a plus. With Easter season going on, there were also special activities happening, making the park feel even more lively. I mainly came to get some steps in and enjoy nature, and it was the perfect place to do just that. Whether you're coming with family, kids, or just looking for a peaceful outdoor walk, this spot checks all the boxes.
