Really nice little park and pretty clean. The only thing you need to watch out for is all the goose poop. Has grills all over for families to barbecue. It is a bit noisy since it is right next to a main street and close to the freeway. read more

Beautiful designed park with good bathroom stalls with soap to wash your hands and paper towels to dry your hands. This park is the place to go to take a nice walk along the paths and bridges along the renewable stream water of a flowing creek flowing down into a giant sized pond for many water birds alike. You'll see Canadian geese, mallard ducks, and other birds. One white geese was the park boss and it was going after me. I walked away from it as fast as I can. Although, there was a tree trimming crew out there and that scared him off. Haha! I went to this park traveling west on the 91 Freeway from Corona. Not to far from a drive from there. You take the 55 freeway exit on the left lanes of 91 Freeway. Your exit is the very first on your far right on exit 17. Be very precautious when making lane turns to get to the exit. After exiting the freeway, you make a right onto Tustin St. and be on the very far left to make the next left turn to Bixby Ave. You will see the park and there's a lot of parking on the backside of the park. Has two playgrounds. This is the must place for Pokémon Go users who want to get a catch for Pikachu here. Found this is a Spawning place for them through thesilphroad.com I saw a man brought two of his fishing poles to fish at the giant sized pond. I give this place 5 stars for a well maintained park. A wonderful lake and park nestled by the Lincoln Ave area of the city of Orange. Brings a lot of homeless into the residential neighborhood of Orange as well as onto the properties of the businesses. Pity the city doesn't do more about it to keep the area safe. Can't imagine this would be allowed in The Orange Circle area where the CU students are and all the tourists. read more

Love this park! My child loves playing on both of there play sets, feeding ducks and enjoying pizza from across the street. Only bad thing is that there is quit a bit of duck poop on floor and grass. read more

My husband and I had an outside ceremony at this park last Spring in front of the lake.The view was breathtaking and our guests were so amazed with the location...parking was not a problem there's plenty of parking space there. Just make sure first to ask for a park permit before anything. read more

This park was a last minute decision for prom pictures. As a photographer, I would say this park is a solid choice for picture taking. There are enough shady areas and the ponds, streams, and lake are nice options. For general purposes, this park is great for strolling and is large enough to make it a nice workout. I'm definitely keeping this park bookmarked. read more

Potatoes, PoTAHtoes. This park really is pretty. There are a couple small ponds, the ducks graze and roam everywhere, and there is a playground for kids with wood chips. However, I hate duck poop. I get the whole nature thing, but...duck poop. Chasing my little boys around the park is fun, but when they fall in dirt areas littered with duck drippings...I lose it. Don't NOT go because of that, but...you've been warned. read more

Large park near our old house that we would go to. Two playgrounds for kids and a little pond with stream that leads to a small lake where people can fish. Nice for walking around but it can be very very crowded. Large family get-togethers can take up most of the park especially on holidays. read more

The parks and recreation department needs to do a better job cleaning the park and the local sheriff should patrol the parking lots more frequently. As for me I dream about someone trying to start stuff but for single moms I can see how the parking lot could be scary. #oldguyssittingintheircars read more

This place is super beautiful. I wish the park had better up keep. The bird population has exploded this year and the city is doing nothing to clean up the poop. Don't get me wrong, I love the ducks and Geese, there are just too many of them. Can't even walk around without stepping in poop. I walk here daily and it's the same everyday. read more

Good Ingress location. Nice place for kids and to take my dog for a walk. The homeless guys at night can be a little annoying but if I was homeless, I might just hang out here too. I like taking my daughter on saturdays because there's always some kind of hispanic "princess party" going on. Thats what she calls it but I know it's for quinceaneras. Beautiful park! I've noticed that they've really cleaned this park up! I've visited the park twice this week one of which was later in the evening and did not notice any homeless people. If you park off Bixby street you'll discover some very cute little playgrounds. It is a large enough park to go for a brisk walk or jog. This park is definitely a hidden gem. read more

So here is the good, the bad & the ugly about this park. I grew up coming to this beautiful park and have watched it blossom into a very family friendly place with nice amenities but there are a few new conditions to be aware of. The good news first: A running brook empties into a tranquil pond that is home to snapping turtles, tiny fish, and wintering ducks. Lots of mature trees, tables, benches, and expansive green lawns for picnics or other activities. There are bathroom facilities and two adequate and safely designed playgrounds for kids. Overall, it is trash-free. Parking can be limited near the pond area although there is more on the other side of the park at the top of the hill. The bad news: The proliferation of ducks and geese means a lot of feces around the lake area. Don't let your kids walk around without shoes! During the mid to late afternoon weekdays, there can be some suspicious activity around with people pretending to fish while leaving "packages" wrapped in foil tucked into the rocks for others to pick up later. How do I know this? I used to sit and meditate nearby and observed this. A young "fisherman" fishes for just a few minutes and then leaves. Men drive by, get out of their cars, walk to the rocks, bend over and pick up a foil-wrapped ball and then leave. (But I also think the police are onto this and there are plainclothes police perusing the park, too.) Then, there is the occasional homeless person or two. They aren't a problem. They're just looking for a warm place to lie in the sun. I like to lie in the sun on a blanket, too. Or just come to sit in the shade to be alone with my thoughts. If you want to plan a weekend picnic, go early though as the best spots near the pond are taken. And there are weekend weddings and quinceaneras in the spring. Otherwise, it's my home park. This is a beautiful park, we took my daughters first birthday pictures here and it was perfect! There are streams and beautiful views of the lake to explore. It isn't an area I would go to alone though as a woman. I'm not saying it's unsafe but I am saying there are people there that look a bit suspicious at times. Talk about beating the summer heat, this park has shade! It's tucked in the northern part of Orange with plenty of area for all to go around & plenty of parking as well. You can walk with the ducks by the lake or up steep walk ways to burn off those calories or you can just find a cozy shaded tree to snooze away with that special someone. This really is a cool park. Not just how big it is but how it's set up and the landscape. There's a couple playgrounds, streams & waterfalls that end in the lake full of ducks, picnic tables & grills, an empty little petting zoo (it used to house some goats and chickens). You can fish here too, but I would NOT eat the fish in here if you should catch anything. At times the lake can be slightly murky, but overall, it's really relaxing to come here. We used to always come here as kids and growing up and have bbq's and just play for hours upon end on the playgrounds. There's plenty of parking everywhere around the park. I love how it's nestled on the hill, amongst the homes and that there's multiple entrances, some of them kind of hidden. Like others have mentioned, if planning a weekend visit, come early to save a table or grill. Coming a little later in the afternoon (especially on a nice summer evening) to sizzle up some steaks and relax ,or on the weekdays is ideal. read more

a really beautiful park if you take your time to look at the scenery. big duck pond with tons of trees for shade. there's also a pretty stream that runs into the pond. I actually came here with my brother because he wanted to take pictures of the park and I enjoyed taking a nice stroll around the place. There are a good amount of tables and benches around the park. Many families were BBQing and playing sports. The only downside about the park is that the pond is pretty dirty; people have littered drinks and crap in the water, which is a shame. I recommend coming here if you want to relax on a sunny day and read a book or bring your dog somewhere new! This park is a nice alternative to Yorba Regional Park, which is just a few miles away and probably 10x as big. read more

Lots of trash in every pond, stream, and lake - been that way for the past 20 years - there are companies that specialize in performing weddings here, but they keep them tucked away in the northwest corner away from the water (i wouldn't want MY wedding pictures littered with water bottles & fast food wrappers) - very sad that the people who frequent the park use it as their personal toilet - but it IS a fairly large park, so you might be able to find a small space clean enough to throw down a blanket and relax (until you get hit on for spare change) read more

This park gets crowded on the weekends. And don't even try to come during the holidays. It's a decent park. Great for kids 10 and younger. Pretty big and clean. Good for elderly people who enjoy quiet strolls. There's lots of ducks for the kids to feed so bring your old bread. read more
