That said, Slim Chickens, especially this location, is a close second for me. The service was excellent, with the manager making small talk in a natural way. I got the limited time Tender Bites and was amazed at the perfectly cooked tenders (see picture below) which were crisp on the outside and perfectly moist on the inside. The breading was a little salty for my taste, but the sauce and blue cheese helped to tap it down. The fries were spot on and the bread was also a good complement for the strong flavors in the breading. Lastly, the Oreo jar was a great way to finish the meal. I probably wouldn't get the 10 piece with the Oreo jar, next time... but for this trip it was worth it. Next time I'm in town, I am stopping by.
