I don't even know where to start with how much I genuinely adore this woman. Trust me when I say…read morethat there is no better midwife around. This woman is not only personable and kind, but she is also incredibly knowledgeable and experienced as a midwife and sound in her medical understanding of birth and prenatal care. Do yourself a favor, and pray to God that she is available to take you on as a client! Even if you live an hour away, I promise you, she's worth the "inconvenience." Emily is so thorough in her care and so genuine in her compassion for you as a person. She easily became one of my favorite people on this planet. Unsure or uneducated about midwifery? Don't know much about homebirth? No problem. Just book her already.

Having Emily Schultz as my midwife was truly an amazing experience from start to finish. This was…read moremy third birth, but my first home birth and first time working with a midwife -- and I can confidently say, I couldn't have asked for a better guide through this journey. From our very first meeting, it was clear that Emily views pregnancy and birth with a deeper, more holistic perspective than a traditional OB. When I mentioned past hormone issues, she immediately had a thoughtful plan and ensured we monitored everything closely with lab work and had a solution ready if needed. I felt truly seen and cared for. Staying in contact with Emily was incredibly easy. She was always responsive, open, and supportive -- I never once felt like I was a burden or just another appointment on her calendar. Even in the final days before birth, when her schedule was packed and I was still working full-time, she made sure I felt prioritized. She kept me updated, was flexible when needed, and never made rescheduling stressful. On the day of the birth, she was in constant contact and headed over as soon as I felt ready. The birth itself was absolutely magical. I felt empowered, in control, and safe -- all because Emily was by my side. She brought such a calm, steady presence that allowed me to focus fully on the experience. Since giving birth Tuesday evening, Emily has checked in multiple times, making sure I'm recovering well and feeling supported. Honestly, I feel like I hit the jackpot having her as my care provider -- and even more than that, I feel like I've made a lifelong friend. Emily is a true angel. She genuinely cares about the people she serves, and you're never just a number to her. Anyone lucky enough to work with her is in the absolute best hands.

I have been seen by the same doctor and nurse many times before and always had very pleasant…read moreexperience. This last visit I left feeling extremely judged and looked down upon by the staff and doctor. I don't know that I feel welcome to come back and if that is how you treat people then I want nothing to do with this establishment going forward. Based on comments, body language, and tone of the doctor and nurse I felt that I was being judged as less then, or that my life choices were wrong. I have not had health insurance for 3yrs due to financial difficulties after turning 25y/o. There is no penalty by the Government for not having insurance and as a young healthy adult I do not need it, this used to be a fairly common practice. In the past three years I have only been sick once with Covid which required a doctor's visit, with that visit and my last visit to 7 Hills I have spent a total of $275 dollars on my health care in three years, which has allowed me to get in a more financially stable place considering I haven't been wasting thousands of dollars on health insurance. I received snarky comments from the nurse about not having health insurance, when I was asked if I wanted an STD test done, I stated that I was paying out of pocket and that I didn't want to agree to anything without an idea of the price first. She replied in a nasty tone and slightly raised volume "I don't know! Usually, people have insurance and its covered..." She proceeded to toss the collection bottle in the trash and walked right out the door. When asked about being on the pill I said that I chose to go off it after 11yrs as I do not want to put artificial chemicals in my body anymore and that I was using a more natural method. Getting back on the pill was mentioned at least 4 times after stating that I wasn't interested. I would expect a health care provider to be more accepting of natural methods then pushing for me to take artificial hormones. I am 28yrs old if I get pregnant by accident that is fine, I wasn't even asked if I chose to get off the pill because I was wanting to have a baby. I would have been very interested in hearing about preparing my body to get pregnant as that is the next step in my life. But no, I was just pushed to get back on it. In the many years that I have gone to this establishment I have NEVER been asked my vaccination status, I was asked when the last time I had the flu shot, if I got the Covid shot and if I planned to get it. What does that have to do with my breast pain that was barely addressed? Nothing, except politics and virtue signaling. After conducting the breast exam, the doctor didn't even tell me that my breasts were fine or that everything seemed normal. When I was explaining the extreme breast pain, I was told that "It's PROBABLY from you getting off the pill." "If you get back on it then it may go away." "You let me know when you want to get back on the pill." Proceeds to check my breast and says nothing about it. So, I still have no doctor's reassurance that my breasts are healthy. This is very disappointing for me because the doctor is the same one that has delivered my nieces and I always envisioned he would deliver mine as well, I don't want that anymore. Additionally I sent this as a review directly to Seven Hills after my appointment and you would think they might reach out to me with an apology for my experience but no, instead I was shocked to see that they sent me a 2nd bill instead! Since I paid with cash the doctor gave me a 20% discount. Well... after I sent this review they revoked the 20% off and sent me a bill! Very professional! When I called the pay the new bill even the bill pay lady was snarky and immediately assumed I would be using a Care Credit card and said "We cant take Care Credit for this low of a payment!" I told her thanks for assuming but the bill is less then $40 I can pay that with a debit card... I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS LOCATION!
