I was having the worst jaw pain. I had dislocated my jaw, my dentist said there wasn't much we…read morecould do. I already had a mouth guard. She told me to try a bunch of things including acupuncture. I wasn't sure about it, so I tried everything else. 2 months later, I was still in some really bad pain. My jaw hurt during the day, it would ache, pound, disappear and then comeback. I thought I was good and I'd yawn or sneeze or say something and the pain would come back. Ice, heat, pain meds, muscle relaxants, TMJ intra-oral massage, Dr's, dentists. Nothing was helping. It would have some slight relief. I decided to look up acupuncture and give it a shot. Better than an oral surgeon which was my next stop. Thank goodness I did. Laying there for the first time, not knowing what to expect, you think all sorts of things. Is this going to work? Is it going to hurt? Is it really going to help at all? Vickie was very thorough, she went through everything with me. Told me what to expect and then once all the needles were in (painless by the way) she left me there with my own thoughts. At the time you're thinking, did I just sign up for a pincushion job? ? I'd feel a little silly if I did. Let me tell you something, I could feel some pain in my jaw at the time the needles were in, very dull, but could feel something. (Not surprising as it always hurts) Even on the opposite side though, that I wasn't really having issues with. That night and the following night, I noticed some slight jaw pain. However, the next morning, sitting on my couch, my lightbulb went off. I was pain free. WHAT? I wiggled my jaw left then right, forward then back, no pain. GONE! Shocked. I couldn't believe it. Did this really just work? I'm a week in and I feel like a new person. Vickie is so nice, caring, and I swear you can feel the healing process emitting from her. She has healing hands. I just finished up my second appointment and I cannot wait to see how I feel in a few days. I just know that I'm going to feel brand new! Honestly, this might sound like a cliché but she is a miracle worker! This feels like nothing short of a miracle for me. I have lived with pain on and off. I'm still amazed and beside myself how well this worked. I know Vickie was very cautious when telling me how I'd feel or how long it would take to even feel any results, with my luck, I was thinking at least 3 or 4 visits, so I was thrilled when it felt better after my first appointment. Shocked, happy, amazed. I cannot recommend Vickie enough. Not only is she amazing but her work is speaking for itself. She is a true healer! BTW: She has a very successful, busy business so I'm sure trying to get all the information she needs AND find a time that works for the patient and her at the same time isn't an easy feat. She was anything BUT condescending. Especially, since I had to reschedule a few times and even forgot an appointment! YIKES. I'm a hot mess. (She was so great to work with through all of my issues.) You know what they say, you can't make everyone happy. Give her a chance, you'll be glad you did!

My first visit gave me immediate relief from my sinus pain. My great results encouraged my husband to give acupuncture a try to treat his chronic lower back pain ( from a ruptured disc 12 years ago) and high stress levels. His experience was similar to mine... He walked out of the studio with no question that he'd return. When his son graduated from chiropractic school, I was introduced to him and asked if I'd like to receive my treatment from him over the next few months, I honestly answered my preference, that being to continue seeing Dr David Linatsis (change is difficult for me). I did stipulate if Dr David had an emergency, I would be fine using Dr Brandon Linatsis instead. When Dr David announced his retirement and that he was selling the business to his son, I was very confident in rolling over to Dr Brandon. Over time, seeing obvious growth changes and the need to enlarge the current building or move to a larger location, Dr Brandon decided to implement his desire to create a holistic environment where his patients could move between other associates/doctors/specialized certified practitioners all affiliated within a group of qualified providers under one roof. My husband and I have been observers and patients during its growing pains and successes. We've been with Dr Brandon from Nashua Family Chiropractic to Blue Zone and now Lyphos, each time a seamless transition for us. There are now not only chiropractor services with 3 different doctors, but also acupuncture services, massage therapists, an LPN to provide family medical needs or referrals when necessary, and resources to bring in a therapist when required. I have had the opportunity to periodically use some of these services over the past many years. In fact, we still see Dr Brandon every other week, just to stay limber. We STRONGLY recommend Dr Brandon as a reputable chiropractor and a wonderful human being. He takes the time to listen to you (and even shares a few humorous stories), makes sure you understand the procedure being implemented,, and the possible side effects (if any). In short, Dr Brandon is both a professional chiropractor and a gentleman as well. We also STRONGLY recommend his cohorts in their desire to provide quality service, a friendly atmosphere, and a cohesive community of holistic health care professionals under one roof. Her intelligence, knowledge, competence, confidence, kindness, and humor provided the help, support, and treatment I needed to start rebuilding. Hypnoacupuncture gave me relief and a new direction: as the acupuncture works on the present anxiety and physical body, the hypnosis works on the future by directing the subconscious mind. Marisa honed in on where I wanted to go next. In this way, she's like the coach you didn't know you needed; a good coach helps you move forward in such a way as to shorten the learning curve. As Marisa brings her top game, she carries her patients along with her. Since receiving treatments, I've learned to reallocate the anxious energy and use it more effectively and productively. I'm back to chasing my goals and dreams in ways I haven't previously. I thank Marisa daily for her talents and her magic.

I'm honestly not someone who usually writes reviews, but my experience with Marisa has been so…read moreimpactful that I felt like I had to share. I drive over an hour each way to see her and it's been so worth it. I originally went to see Marisa for extreme anxiety and ongoing sleep issues, after trying what felt like every modality out there: somatic exercises, journaling, therapy, BIT, meditation, breath-work...you name it. While many of those helped in their own ways, nothing truly moved the needle for me the way hypnoacupuncture with Marisa has. From my very first session, there was an obvious shift. Even the people around me noticed. After that first session, the tension in my shoulders decreased, and the only way I can describe it is that everything (physically & mentally) felt like it had been taken down a notch. Since working with her, my sleep has completely transformed. I went from having an extremely hard time falling asleep and waking up almost every hour, to now pretty much sleeping through the night. If I do wake up, I can fall back asleep easily, and I'm even dreaming a lot which I take as a sign I'm finally getting deep, restful sleep. I've seen such drastic improvements that I genuinely feel like I have a new baseline. I feel so much more in control of my anxiety now and honestly like a completely different person than I was just a few months ago. It's been truly life changing. I honestly wish I could see her weekly. The closest way I can describe how you feel leaving a session is like you just had a massage; you're so relaxed, grounded, and at ease. Marisa has truly touched my life. She is genuinely an angel. She listens, she cares deeply, and she is incredibly dedicated to her clients. If she doesn't have an answer right away, she always follows up, whether by email or the next time you see her, which says so much about the level of thought and attention she gives. I don't feel comfortable around many people, but there's something about her energy that is so light and reassuring. She creates such a safe, welcoming environment, and it makes all the difference. I'm so grateful to have found her and truly can't recommend her enough.
