They have amazing deals, just hit the clearance bins! I routinely pick up hair care products (John Frieda) for $3.99 and their signature brand shower gels and lotions for $2.99 in the clearance bins. I do this sort of thing every few years and I always regret it-- the same way you always go back to that same Coney Island that you know was terrible but you think it'll be okay this time. It isn't. Don't do it. So, I tried to live with it but it was horrible. I was sad and getting a massive headache from wearing my hair in a ponytail for 15 days in a row... So, when I decided to find someone to fix my botched do, I stumbled in to Garibella. I was obviously a little worried that it would end up worse than it was when I came in... because that's just my luck. It wasn't. The haircut I got was pretty close to what I went in for and honestly, it's probably better than what I wanted. I'm really happy with my haircut and really, really happy with how healthy and shiny it looks. While I was getting my hair shampooed a woman walked in and recognized Eric, my stylist. Apparently he'd done her hair at another salon and she'd been looking for him for a year, refusing to go to anyone else. When he walked in the back for something she asked if he'd ever cut my hair before, and then proceeded to tell me how amazing he was. I'll admit, I'm pretty happy with it. I was a walk-in, and they were able to fit me in. I did have to wait a while but that's to be expected when you don't have an appointment. The lady on the phone advised me that no appointments were available for Monday and Tuesday but she had Wednesday available. I said no because I would be out of town. She then said they had same day availability or tomorrow Saturday at 12. I chose Saturday. Upon arrival on Saturday, I was told they had me scheduled for Wednesday. I explained I would not have made a Wednesday appt. because I would not be in town. The young lady at the desk told me their facial appts. are booked well in advance like I was the one who made the mistake. I said I was scheduled for a manicure. She said it's the same person. She then told me they would reschedule me and proceeded to take another customer that was there for a facial in the back. I left. An apology would have went a long way. Mistakes happen but the mistake was not on my end. It was theirs. Too bad because I enjoyed my first visit.
