They were super nice and Ashleigh showed us how to screen-print our own shirts. I really enjoyed learning how to do it. It was fun and easy to do and the shirt designs were so professional-looking. We got to choose from four different designs and choose the color and size of t-shirt we wanted. I always love events where there's a make-and-take. The shop is really cool and has a lot of fun designs for t-shirts. They also sell coffee mugs and drinking glasses with a Des Moines logo that Ashleigh designed. Another great thing about their merchandise is that it's all so reasonably priced unlike a lot of other t-shirt places out there. They also do mobile screen-printing. They can come to festivals, small parties and corporate events and people can print their own t-shirts. That's such a cool idea! I can't believe nobody thought of it before. You have to come and check this place out.

P&M is a family-owned business that specializes in custom apparel and other personalized items…read more Their customer service is awesome and their pricing is very fair. If you are searching for a company to work with for making sports uniforms, dance apparel, corporate wear or fundraising gear these are the people to work with. P&M has a program for creating a customized online store for your team, school or organization. This can be run as a fundraiser or just a convenient way to organize the orders for your group. They also have a showroom on the square in Polk City if you want to meet in person. The best part of working with P&M is the customer service. They were very responsive and helped me design my team's logo, jerseys and some cool apparel for the parents of our team (jackets, banners, t-shirts, etc). I definitely recommend P&M and will be using them again next year.

I explained to each shop that we wanted to make the T-shirts as inexpensive, yet as nice, as possible so that we could sell many and increase our fundraising donation. All the DSM Metro shops that I tried were pretty unaccommodating... So I decided to call P&M in Polk city to see if they were any more willing to work with us. Chris was SO GREAT. He did everything he could to try to bring our price point down! He even had his artists do the artwork for us from a very rough sketch! Not only did we have a price point budget, but we also gave him a very small time margin which he completely worked with us on and made it happen! This is an example of why I love working with small, local businesses! They are the ones that will go out of their way to help you! If you are anywhere in the central Iowa area do yourself a favor and call P&M apparel for any promotional products or if you need any sort of T-shirts printed or embroidered! Heidi
