The terras is heated and a good place to hide from the rain. The place is in the main street of the village. So enough shopping and dinning possibilities. If a grade of 5 stars +++ was possible they would get it! The restaurant is located in Hotel Greenside in De Koog (excelent hotell as well, stayed there twice). The staff was tentative, polite and quick, they could not have done a better job! We've ordered a three-course dinner, which they served a little teaser before, a white-asparagus soup with a cracker with serrano ham, very delicious. The starter was a steak-tartar, which they with no problem substituted for a more pregnant-friendly dish for my wife. (I cant exactly remember what the complete dish was, I should have written it down), I am attaching pictures to the review though! Main-course was a lovely cod with new-potatoes and a crab-sause reduction, it was absolutely perfect! Dessert, once again I should have written down exactly what it was, but it was some kind of mango-mouse with ice-cream on crumbles and a cake. If you are on Texel and want a really good restaurant and food experience, you have to visit this restaurant.
